So did he sit out all of last year? or did he ever actually suit up for the Racers?

Yeah something doesn't add up. I had read he transferred from Cincy to Murray State, where he played last season.

Free throws and like always turnovers! we have to be averaging about 20 a game. That's 20 possessions lost, and 40 potential points...but more realistically about 15-20 points.

I know this is irrelevant, but I just noticed their court design is UGLY as hell! It's like they tried to fit as much text on it as they could and the yellow lines are hard to see.

I would like to see him have some sort of job with the football team, whether it be a position coach, recruiting, or something else. But my question is how does Jason really feel about Akron? Is he proud of being a graduate and want to give back, or does he just consider it the place he went to school? If I had to guess I'd say he just considers it the place he went to school, since I've never heard of him attending games, coming back to campus, or even talk about Akron.

It's tough to say where this kid could play since all different sources say RB, CB, and Athlete. If I had to choose I'd like to have him play CB and maybe try out as a return man. I think we need a lot of help in the secondary, but more importantly the defense needs all the help it can get. Has there been any news on the FSU transfer? is he still coming to Akron or no?

I graduated Buchtel the year John Heisman was coach...... I'm still waiting to see a good team But in all seriousness I know it's been said a million times but it's crazy how much campus has changed. I remember my four years at UA there was never a day that went by when construction crews weren't on campus. I now live in PA and get choked up every time I come back to campus. Great place and great memories!

If I had to guess I would say members of the rifle team.

In all honestly I find it tough to get excited about college baseball in general. I'm a huge Indians fan and love the game, just have found that when it comes to college I find softball more entertaining than baseball. But I hope to see every Zips team succeed and wish the new coach the best of luck!

It's amazing what confidence can do to a team. No surprise the best games the Zips have won this year, the JAR has either been sold out or near capacity. Same could be said about soccer. How much of an effect does the atmosphere have? If the Zips can play in front of some decent crowds next year, they will see how much the community and school cares about them. It will give them the confidence that they lacked last year, and hopefully play hard. Even watching the NFL playoffs has shown that any team can win on any given day. Did Denver have enough talent to beat Pittsburgh? Did NY have more talent than Green Bay? Did San Francisco have more talent than New Orleans? Every team will see playing us as a cake walk, but Bowden will bring the best out of them.

I actually think it is an awful hire by Tampa Bay, aside from a few good years at Rutgers he has about a .500 overall record. Even Terry has been more successful at the D1 level...

I actually hope only season ticket holders and students be allowed. We need to sell all of the season tickets we can, so we need to give fans all the incentives we can to buy them. Free gifts, and exclusive perks the single game buyers won't get.

If only all schools had "awesome" Russel uniforms like OU... I remember my middle school football team wore the same thing, and even we were embarrassed.

So that makes like 20 of these "diamond in the rough" players. Ianello has such a good way to find players that no other FBS schools want! How did he only win 2 games?

This is not a good way to start a sentence about a recruit. It automatically makes me think the kid is untalented. I understand there's a bit of respect in honoring the iRecruits offers, but these guys are not good and will just waste roster space...

We're still a team that plays to the level of their competition, has too many turnovers, and very slow starting. Very frustrating! They played decent against Ohio, then embarrassing loss to Buffalo, beat Can't then sloppy win against Ball State. The MAC west is supposed to be easy, but with these up and down games I have my doubts...
