Meh I think those guys are talented based on what I've seen with my own eyes throughout their careers. I can't remember ever playing bump and run on a consistent basis and we've had talented players before. I think scheme is the issue, at least today thus far on D.

What Troy is doing isn't rocket science. From a personnel perspective, Butler stuck out a lot in that quarter and not in a good way.

The Troy OC is coaching circles around Amato.

I agree the bashing is uncalled for as he was assuredly dealing with his own issues and helping other people in the aftermath of the hurricane. The University had a private party for him at the stadium. You're kidding yourself if you think "the faithful" would have filled anything. Somebody on here had trouble getting 6 people to fill a table for an event. We have some good die hards, but in general our fan base sucks. This is nothing new.

Donnell Alexander and his whole 494 yards of rushing that year does not belong in the same sentence as the others.. Hundley was the feature back that year and almost got to 1000. Let's hope this season ends the same way it did when this thread was started.
