I would like to see it as well. Everything I have seen from him makes me think he has kept a good attitude, which would be hard to do given his situation, He's a heck of an athlete, I think he could find somewhere to contribute if he doesn;t want to be a back up the remainder of his career.

I thought I saw on TV yesterday and my relative confirmed today- that the Zips supposedly got a 750k payout. Doesn't match up with anything I've read, though.

Couldn't agree more. There are a few sports writers at the ABJ that earn their paycheck. Lloyd, Marla, and maybe Ulrich.

Lost in today's madness is Pete Lembo leaving Ball St to join Maryland's staff. Word on twitter is that he had a decent recruiting class put together....I am cautiously optimistic about how this recruiting class turns with our program being at an all time high and the exodus of HC's around the conference.

Holy hell...where to start....This is one of my top moments as a Zips fan. Right up there with Zeke rejecting a couple of Can't St players in OT of the MAC championship in 2011 and our soccer national championship in 2010. The Zips played their best game of the year. I am glad that 3 players I have been critical of all season in Stein, Pratt, and Evans played the game of their lives in their last game. Proud of them. Stein's kicks were huge! I said "if we get in FG range and make the kick to go up 2 scores, I like our chances." Well, it came down to the last play of the game, but it proved to be enough! I heard Johnny J's was packed. The Score was pretty full as well and it was the most fun I've had watching the Zips not in person. It was nice to be around a group of passionate people who cared about the University. So happy for the coaches, the players, and last but not least..all of us on Zipsnation who have endured many seasons of losing. Enjoy it and look forward to the future. Go Zips! edit: also if anyone has any media to share regarding the celebration/post game pressers/etc please share as I didn't get to see it at the bar. PS- Loved the call to give it to Grice on the 4th and 1 towards the end of the game (even though it didnt work out). Put the trust in the team to pull through.

I'm not sure how much I agree with this, but I'm also not sure its worth the time to debate. What we both can degree on is that he has brought in some nice local talent and they seem to be the cornerstone of the program.

off topic (and it feels weird saying this), but I was watching the Cure bowl during halftime of the OU game. I think we would stomp both SJSU and Ga State. They look bad.

Figured I'd start a thread for the other bowl games for our conference members. OU vs App State on ESPN right now. Should be pretty evenly matched, but I'm taking the Mountaineers. Nice chance to scout App State a little bit for next season as well.

I agree with Chris' take. Coach Bowden keeps saying this is our "Super Bowl" and I wholeheartedly believe thats the attitude the team has. USU is tired of going there. Ripe for an upset!
