I like the pick of Buffallo over WVU for a lot of reasons, but two reasons stick out to me the most: 1) Buffalo has a go to player who can carry them and a few other nice ones that can help 2) They are battle tested. Do you guys think they will be fazed playing WVU when they've already played at Kentucky AND Wisconsin?
I wish if he were going to give an excuse not to play in one (which I'm alright with), he would use something different. What about all the other years we played in these junk tourneys? We aren't all of the sudden "above" them, especially when we can't even win because our guys don't usually care to be there. If anything, I think this group of guys would change that. They have great character and heart.
I think 9 players is plenty. Most teams in the country play with only 8 or 9 in their regular rotation. How long of a rest would we have if we accepted?
We usually disappoint in these junk tourneys. However, this team has a lot more heart than most other Zips teams I've watched. I'd bet if we took an invite we would have a nice little run.
Don't take it so personal. Wasn't intended to be. Just saying there is really not a chance of getting invited. Toledo didn't get an invite. No reason to think we would.
My early thoughts on the rotation next year: I'd like to see Kretzer get less minutes, Isaiah Johnson at maybe 10 minutes a game/Pat 30, and Aaron Jackson get some more time.
I'm not sober, but seems like a terribly written article. No flow and starting sentences with "but'. I also don't really see his point. I have no clue about the current set up there, but in the future, the fans still have to park somewhere, right?
Disappointed by the loss, but great effort by the Zips. Passionate and never gave up. Season could have been a lot more disappointing given the circumstances. Looking forward to watching the freshman and sophomores develop and expecting a huge senior season from Pat. Deji and Nyles- You both had a very nice senior season. Thank you for how you represented the program and good luck to you.
Its the end of the season. I;d think he'd be in shape by now. Still needs to develop his left hand in the off season. Missing shots he shouldn't because of it.
The same ref that issued a warning to KD also issued a warning to Hawkins. I wonder if he has it out for WMU as well. I mean seriously...we are complaining about KD getting a T that he said himself he deserved. Take off your blinders.
