    Why do I have this bad feeling that he will hit a game winner like this against the Zips at some point over the next few years??? I hope I'm wrong.

    The game was concerning to me in many ways. I guess the thing that bothered me the most was committing four traveling violations in the span of 9 minutes! Everything spiraled out of control due to that. You could see it on Dambrot's face, the players faces and in their body language. It was a hard game to watch.

    He seems to make good decisions with the ball. Interested to see what kind of opportunity he gets.

    Wow. Denzel (DJ) Jones is actually going to be gone from the team this year. Seems like he's been here for 7 years!

    I'm really going to be disappointed if we don't get Booker, Bridges and Sampson.

    I like his explosiveness and really like what I see on his special teams plays. Big hitter on defense and forces turnovers.

    Not bad, but I think I prefer him on defense more than offense.

    I think we got a good one here. Strong arm, nice touch on his passes, athletic and sees the field well finding the open receiver. Based on what I see so far, I would say he is potentially one of the best QB's we've landed in a long time. On a side note, he also has great receivers. Lol

    That brings me to another point. Am I the only one that thinks Milwee needs to go?

    I understand Woodson has a bad shoulder and that affects our team dramatically, but how can there be such a drop in talent/performance when Chapman comes in? He was originally a Pitt recruit. How is this possible?

    I'm ready for the basketball season to start. I don't think I can watch another Zips football game this season.

    Strong runner. I like it! I can't wait to see him and Bridges from Ellet on the Zips over the next several seasons.

    I feel we'd definitely have a good chance at beating some of the teams listed ahead of us including Chattanooga, UT Arlington and Long Beach State. Would love to get some of them on a future OOC schedule.

    All I know is, I can't take this defense much longer. I realize we lost some great players to graduation and injury, but this is just awful and painful to watch.

    Yeah, bad timing on all the visits. Wish it would have been during the Miami game.

    One thing that stood out was that he hopes for a new or upgraded arena...not so much for him, but for the next coach. Struck me as a bit odd.

    I heard that too. He also said that Jatavis was his key to the game for the Chargers.

    As I mentioned earlier in the season. If he keeps progressing, he will be our next "Jatavis"...or even better possibly.

    I haven't had a chance to read all the comments yet and I don't know if anyone said this yet, so I apologize if so. The one thing I can see with this team that shows we are a much better program now than in the past is this: Playing without our starting QB and starting RB and still winning would have never happened in the past. I see a lot of promise with our program.

    It will be very interesting to see him playing as a Zip! Can't wait!

    I went to the Ellet vs Field game back on September 9th. Bridges is the real deal at RB. I believe he had 324 yards and 4 or 5 TD's in that game. He had back to back 57 yard and 87 yard TD runs. I know Ellet scored something like 83 points last Friday, not sure how many yards he had in that game, but a lot I'm sure.
