    I'm going to miss the hard work, dedication and 3 pointers by Kretzer and McAdams, but I like that we are going to be a more "athletic" team moving forward. As far as Forsythe, I felt like he didn't really live up to expectations. I liked the guy, but I just felt he wasn't aggressive enough by not finishing hard at the rim offensively.

    I think that Xavier is my #1 choice to get on our schedule. Not only are they very good year in and year out, but I would think we could get a really good turnout of Zips fans for a great intrastate match up. Another couple teams that would be on my wish list at some point would be Duke and North Carolina. On a side note, who remembers when we actually had Kansas State at the JAR the year after they went to the Final Four?

    Yes, it is definitely a loop hole. Once more teams figure it out and abuse it, the rule will get changed again.

    Yeah, standing in line over there was brutal sometimes and some of the "assistance" that was offered was just as brutal. Just look at how easy things are now for the students.

    We had our best QB performance with Dalton Williams mostly because Bowden ran the offense that season. It hasn't been the same since he turned Offensive Coordinator duties over to AJ Milwee.

    I really feel like the Zips are gonna make a statement tonight. Aside from beating the hated rival, winning this game knocks Kent out of a first round bye for the tournament which would be great.

    We definitely need someone like him here. Now lets hope our new Offensive line can open some holes for him!

    I can't wait to see Jamal Brown II and Brian Bell on the field together in the 2017 season.

    Glad to see all the Offensive Lineman in already. I really like signing 2 at the safety position as well. I always feel like our defensive backfield has been one of our biggest problems over the past several years.

    I was going to mention that as well...he doesn't look fast, but he does seem to really catch the ball at it's highest point so that adds to his effectiveness.

    It's nice to see him already playing at Infocision Stadium in some of the highlights. He's got decent size.

    Saw the article in today's ABJ. I hope we haven't lost our in-road to their recruits. Seems like we had a good thing going recently. It would be nice if we could get him to come aboard in some capacity to help further our local recruiting efforts.

    As far as the OOC games, we should definitely beat VMI, but probably lose to Wisconsin. I think App St and Marshall are a coin flip. If the conference schedule is as Balsy predicts I say we go 5-3 in that span. (Losses to BG, Toledo and Western Michigan). Basically that would give us another 7-5 or a 6-6 record. Unfortunately I can't see us building on our win total after losing so many seniors this season.

    App State and Georgia Southern have been football powerhouses at the lower level for years. I remember seeing Georgia Southern completely crush teams over the years and win, I believe, three IAA National Championships in the 1980's alone.
