LZIp
And here is Terry's article. I agree with a previous poster, show him some support! He is one of the few Plain Dealer reporters I like to read. http://www.cleveland.com/pluto/index.ssf/2017/01/akron_basketball_team_wins_big.html
NWAkron
I'm in lower bowl and the 10 seats to my left which are center court, prime location are always empty or partially filled by different people each week. Does give me a place to put my coat Before if you got your tickets from your boss or whoever, you could come and get a free meal and drinks in the TE lounge. Now if you want to eat there its thousands of dollars. I've never been in there, but I get a sense they are looking for a new business model for the VIP perks. To get into Tommy Evans lounge you have to spend at least $2500 on Zips athletics. That can include priority reserved seats or above for football and soccer. There used to be free food but now they have a buffet you can purchase for $20. There are still free soft drinks and water. There is also a cash bar. I would estimate that around 7-800 people use it every game.

And as I type this, I see that Hilltopper pretty much explained the details above. Although, I'll contend that he multiplied the average number of people by about 4 times. I've seen some big crowds in there, but my visual tells me that if the place ever had more than a few hundred people in there, it would look like the Volkswagen with the clowns at the circus. NWAkron
I thought we got a letter saying to get the food option u had to pony up much more than $2500. But I was never in that group anyway.

clarkwgriswold
Yes, I can pass on registering for the Athens Messenger. As much as I enjoy beating OU, I'd much more enjoy beating them with Campbell. I was listening to Joe Dunn's show last week and according to him Big Dog has a long history, going back to their time in the Cinci area, of outplaying Campbell. Blue & Gold
^^Idk about high school, but Big Dog's owned Campbell every time they've met in college. Edited January 20, 2017 by Blue & Gold
kreed5120
Hate to see a player miss his senior year. Wish him a good recovery and a successful career someplace overseas. Edited January 20, 2017 by kreed5120

zippy5
Meh. I'm assuming Big Dog played at least ten less minutes each of those games. Also, UA won most of the above games, which is really what OUr fanbase cares about.

Johnson/Campbell's minutes- 2014 Gm1- 10min/5min (Johnson +5) Gm2- 25min/10min (Johnson +15) Akron loss 2015 Gm1- 12min/28min (Johnson -16) Akron loss Gm2- 25min/27min (Johnson -2) 2016 Gm1- 22min/29min (Johnson -7min) Gm2- 22min/39min (Johnson- 17min) You assumed Johnson played at least 10 minutes less in each of those 6 games, your assumption was incorrect. We can all agree that the wins are what both fanbases cares about, but saying Johnson ( I refuse to call another grown man Big Dog) dominated Campbell is simply incorrect. Valpo Zip
I don't have a problem admitting that my perception or opinion was wrong when facts are presented. So thank you Jupitertoo and OU dude for chiming in and adding some objectivity to the conversation. Campbell and Big Dog are both great players and it is a shame Campbell will finish his college career on the bench. At this point, however, it seems like big dog is dominating the conference and no one is matching up with him.
