94zipgrad Posted November 15, 2018 Report Posted November 15, 2018 The Bobcats put a beat down on the Bulls last night. Don’t want to be a downer but putting our bowl hopes in serious jeopardy Quote
Zipmeister Posted November 15, 2018 Report Posted November 15, 2018 I think we are catching the kittens at just the right time. They have to be tuckered out after all that exercise they got against the bulls. Zips by 14. Quote
feetg10 Posted November 15, 2018 Report Posted November 15, 2018 Last year the kittens pounded the MACs top team Toledo, only to lose to the Zips the following week. 1 Quote
zipsoutsider Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 Buffalo did not protect the ball. Even good teams have those weeks. Quote
Lee Adams Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 OU will have a few extra days to prepare and rest. They will be playing at home. They MAY be playing to win the division(if UB loses). And have to figure they might have a little revenge in mind for last season's loss. OU is a really good MAC team. They are significantly better than the Zips at this point. Quote

kreed5120 Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 (edited) I put the odds of Buffalo losing to 2-8 BGSU on 9 days rest at about 1% odds. That being said, for whatever reason we seem to play well against OU. Two years ago we went down to Athens with a WR as our QB and nearly pulled off the upset. Last year we beat OU at home and in my opinion they were the better team than us. I don't think we'll win, but I wouldn't be surprised if we're in a position to win it late. Would have pulled off the upset if one of the best WR's in Zips history -JoJo Natson - didn't drop a last-second desperation pass in the end zone which hit him right between the numbers. Only pass I think he dropped all year. Lol. Quote

GoZips88 Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 (edited) 1st series, 3rd-and-1 and Edwards never stood a chance on the hand-off. Ohio correctly hedged their bets on 'same old, same old.' OU - hot knife thru butter on their first series. Wow. May be heading out with headphones to get more yard work done than I anticipated. Captain Kangaroo Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Zips defense not looking like they care much about bowl eligibility. Their most listless defensive series of the season. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Wow...the Zips throw the ball from their own 10!? Look at Milwee go! Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Wow again...just wow... Quote
GoZips88 Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 ... back out to the yard. Too nice outside to stay inside watching this. Bummer. Quote
zippy5 Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Our line is horrible. Not that Milwee doesn't deserve blame, but we don't have many options with this blocking Quote
dre22era Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Welp almost time to change the channel Quote
RowdyZip Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Do the Zips give up 70? I'll be over on the new coach candidate thread. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 Remember the western Michigan game where we were down 66-5 midway through the 3rd quarter? We might top it today. Quote
dre22era Posted November 23, 2018 Report Posted November 23, 2018 I feel for Akron's Defense. The offense can't move the ball I can't fault the defense at all. Defense been balling all season but with this offense you would never know especially looking at the stat sheet. Quote
