LoyalZIP Posted December 5, 2022 Report Posted December 5, 2022 Harrison Waylee of NIU hit the portal a couple days ago. That’s a huge one, as he was the most important player in the program besides Lombardi. Bad things are happening in Dekalb. Next year is a make or break year for Hammock. 1 Quote
Ham Posted December 6, 2022 Report Posted December 6, 2022 I wonder if Cycron will be going to the Camellia Bowl? Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted December 6, 2022 Report Posted December 6, 2022 Word on the street is that PCCC's Sean Lewis is joining the new Prime Time staff at Colorado as OC. Quote

Let'sGoZips94 Posted December 6, 2022 Report Posted December 6, 2022 Not really impressed with their prospects. It'll be interested to see what happens here. Sean leaving like he did is a bit of a black-eye on a program that is by definition a black-eye in college football. Quote
LoyalZIP Posted December 6, 2022 Report Posted December 6, 2022 Schlee, Cephas, Cooper now all in the portal. 1 Quote

Yeah, at this rate it’ll take several years to rebuild that program even with the portal. Their prep signing class is falling apart and some of their best players are leaving. Finding adequate replacements won’t be easy despite the high amount of players in the portal. Talk about a tough gig. They took the stairs up and now catching the elevator down. Quote
Dr Z Posted December 20, 2022 Report Posted December 20, 2022 Tomlin References MACtion Pickett will return in time for a frigid game -- the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception -- Saturday night, when temperatures are expected to be around 8 degrees at kickoff with a wind chill estimated to be minus-4. Pickett's five years of collegiate experience at Pitt, though, will help prepare him for Saturday night's weather. "I think that's an example that we often cite when we analyze people in draft prep," Tomlin said. "Diontae [Johnson] played at Toledo; he's from Tampa, but he played at Toledo in that Wednesday night MAC-tion. That probably got him a little prepared. All the offensive guys -- usually there's a discussion of some kind in draft analysis of that exposure or what that might look like or if it might be an issue for them. Oftentimes it's not a significant decision-maker but a variable certainly." Quote
