Regardless of when, where, and what time these games are played, there is no reason to not go bowling this year. Morgan State should be an automatic win and good chance to win 4 straight from the NIU-Kent stretch. Win one more and that’s 6 for bowl eligibility.

I think it is critical for the Zip footballers to do well in the classroom. I seem to recall teams with less than 6 wins may still be able to play in a bowl game if their academic performance is up to snuff.

5 home games again and all of these weekday games filling our schedule. Wow, I'm used to the MAC getting the shaft, but this is ridiculous. Good luck with attendance numbers to those in charge of this...

"Hey recruits, want to play on week nights with no one in attendance? Come to the MAC to play!"

But...that Wednesday night classic against PCCC will be televised to a national audience on ESPN27.

Kent on a wednesday is a crime

Incredibly horrible decision. The MAC office is brain dead to take the most heated rivalry in the MAC and reduce it to mid-week oblivion that no one will see. This is so stupid it defies logic. There has got to be something that can be done to change it. Neither school  fanbase wants this.

Words can't express how much I hate this schedule. If anyone can help me see it differently I'll at least listen, but I don't see how this schedule benefits the players, students, alumni, fans and greater Akron community. Awful, just awful.

It benefits no one and it truly is awful. Imagine the MAC sitting there wanting to get more butts in seats due to low attendance for many schools in the conference and then putting so many games on week nights. It boggles my mind. A rivalry game on a Wednesday night....goodness.

It sounds as if the mac and ADs don't have a lot of say

Well, maybe that's true. I guess I just need to rant about whoever made this decision, wherever and whoever they are. They should know enough that this is NOT a good thing for the conference.

It benefits the leadership of the MAC and Athletic Directors in the member schools.

They are more interested in their careers than their employers.

It's nice having a coach with a name worth a damn. Proof that Joe Moorhead's Camp carries more weight nationwide than let's say Akron Football Camp.

We have enough to be concerned about without adding the Toledo/Bowling Green game to the list.
