Except for the fact that a competent person operated the clock at Millet Hall. That was NOT the case at the Q.

Just found the replay: Missed 1+1, Missed reb (did Travis even try), ... missed gameclock (at least 1.5-sec) should have started when ball first touched. Didn't start until player got control. ... shot it at 1.9-sec left.

 

Can't control the clock ... but FTs and reb ????

I was a 12 year old in the tunnel with the Rowdies getting ready to storm the court. This might've saved me from potentially getting trampled, but the pain of this moment is way worse than whatever pain would've come with getting trampled. 

 

Side note: Cedric Middleton spent countless hours shooting free throws in the gym following this moment. He use to coach me in private basketball lessons, and he would mention how much that missed free throws pushed him to be better going forward. 

 

Wood, Cedric, Rome, Dru, Linhart, etc. - one of the most deserving groups of guys that never got their One Shining Moment.

Honestly that’s a pretty tough schedule. I could see Akron losing 4 of these games at least

Losing 4 is much different than losing 11.   Seven of those losses are by eights points or more.  Even if you say that is a tough schedule, I would say Buffalo is a bad team.

Looks like several key injuries have knocked Kent back a few pegs. Sounds like one or two key guys are out for at least a month ... if not the season.
