Bass is recovering from the flu, but was already finding himself on the bench far more often than not before that. Hornbeak is out hurt. Santiago isn’t the same anymore (yet). They are without an identity.

"Punk" is their identity.

They just don't have any students dating any players with talent this year (i.e. InSincere).

Really surprised with Santiago.  He's appears to have actually regressed as a player.  I always thought he was the heart of that team but he's scoring only 8 points a game on 34% shooting in 32 minutes a night.

They are decimated:

They have lost No. 5 (C. Hornbeak), No. 7 (C. Gillespie), No. 8 (G. Moss), No. 9 (W. Rollins) -- basically their entire bench -- all likely out for the season. Their four remaining 'starters' -- Santiago, Sullinger, Davis, Payton - have collectively under-achieved.

No. 6 (G. Bass) has struggled finding his place and his been down with the flu.

Add in the fact they have 'given away' arguably 2 or 3 games already this season and the immediate future does look bleak.

Dayton beat duquesne by 10 - perplexing spread.

What a shame. The funniest part is it looks like there's more Dayton fans there than Duquesne fans. Sure the Zips crowds aren't great, but we're never outnumbered by opposing fans at home.

Western Michigan is legit.

OU blows. Western hasn't played a single team worth a damn and has some really bad losses. They've also played a garbage MAC very closely in their victories.
