kreed5120 Posted February 5 Report Posted February 5 AJ Clayton is back for Ohio. They should be improved moving forward. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Kent up 4 at the half on Ohio 44-40 after both teams were hot from the field. Ohio started off 10/11 but cooled off a bit. Ohio let Kent keep up with a bunch of awful awful turnovers. Quote
zipsrule Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 With six and half minutes left, Ohio up 64-63. Quote
zipsrule Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 (edited) This isn't a battle of who wants it more, but a battle of who wants it less. Edited February 15 by zipsrule Quote
zipsrule Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Kent tried to give it away, but holds on to win 76-75. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 (edited) Kent doesn't win games - other teams lose them. Both teams suck. Ohio is challenged athletically and in basketball IQ. Kent is offensively challenged (and IQ challenged but that's redundant since I already said "Kent"). If the MAC Championship game is anybody but Akron & Miami, I will be shocked. Side note: just went to Bobcat Attack and saw the headline that their win at BUGS on Tuesday was their first win in BG in 8 years. Holy... Edited February 15 by Let'sGoZips94 Quote
Reslife4Life Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 What an ending in kent! Both teams didn’t play great, but that was entertaining. Exactly what is good for CBSSN Friday 3 Quote
csims0917 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Probably was the most entertaining Mac game I’ve watch this year Quote

kreed5120 Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Nobody saw 8th seeded Kent making the Finals last year. Weird things happen in single elimination tournaments. 1 Quote
Reslife4Life Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 I wonder what it is like as “Joe Buffalo”. Your team reached such a peak pre covid and had great crowds. Ever since then it has been a gradual decline with rock bottom last year. I would wonder if they start to be one of those top tier mac teams in the near future will they get that level of support back Quote
LZIp Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Miami down 14 at WMU with under 6 to go. No idea how this team has done this well to date. So unathletic. 1 Quote
NWAkron Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Cardinals did not ONE but TWO Julius Rollins fouls to send game into OT with Huskies but ultimately prevailed 2 Quote

Reslife4Life Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 Disastrous day for the top half of the MAC, we need to win and handily Quote
1981 grad Posted February 15 Report Posted February 15 The home teams won 4 out of 5 this weekend with Buffalo being the only home team to lose. Winning on the road in the MAC is always difficult. Love that the Zips will be challenged to buck the trend and get a win tonight. Looking forward to the game. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 (edited) While we'll be celebrating Freeman tonight (and hopefully extending the nation's longest winning streak), there are some interesting matchups in the MAC. Kent at BUGS - BG has the weapons to knock off Kent, they just need to stop sucking. Miami at EMU - Does Miami take out all their anger from the WMU loss on Stan Heath's crew, or does Heath's squad hold serve at home in front of a raucous crowd of 10 people? CMU at Ohio - Has anybody found AJ Clayton or will CMU turn the dial up even more on Boals' already scalding hot seat? Balls at Toledo - Go Balls. WMU at Canada - Literally nobody cares. NWAkron cares. Edited February 18 by Let'sGoZips94 Quote
NWAkron Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 WMU game is very important for seeding and staying home. Boals isn't going anywhere no matter how sad Kitten Attack is Kent won 4 in a row. Easy win tonight. BG looking at bottom 4 placement. Western game important in that regard. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted February 19 Report Posted February 19 (edited) Balls just hit a buzzer beater to win at Toledo. Scratch that. They waived it off. Edited February 19 by Let'sGoZips94 Quote
