Can't compete for league title. Can't accept a bowl invite.  What should the team goal be and how the hell does the HC motivate them? "Our goal is _______."

Wrong, they can complete for a league title. That's the goal.

Not according to the MAC or the NCAA.  Conference title games are postseason. Akron is banned from postseason.

Our goal is to stick it up the @$$es of the rest of the league and the NCAA. 

 

Come up with a bad guy. Frame yourself as a victim.

I wouldn't disagree if the facts in this case were untrue. They're not untrue. Nor did we fight last year's penalty.

To have Moorhead do something dumb enough to get out from under the contract?  Or is 8-28 and academically ineligible OK now?

At least 6 games should be the goal. And he motivates them by having far more intel on the situation than the forum does.

It's worth remembering that these penalties come with a reduction in practice/meeting time. That's going to impact on the field performance.
