I never thought after the ending in the first half we would win this game.  One of the best games I have watched.  We beat an undefeated team on the road.  When is the last time a Zips fan has said that.

Good win. Just imagine what we could do if our offense was functional for more than half a game.

 

This program can’t ever afford to look ahead, but umASS, KSucks, and then could be looking at a very winnable game against BG to get to .500….

Yes, the second-half offense...that's the type of offense that can get you to Detroit if it's consistent.  Especially with this defense.

I know we probably disagree on Moorhead (I’ve been back and forth on my overall opinion), but I think that your statement is pretty telling. Only needing one side of the ball to be more consistent and you’re a conference contender. I wonder how much 25% more practice time, having a reasonable sized staff, and being able to keep 1-2 All-MAC players players annually would help that.

 

One will work itself out in time. The other two can be fixed by just a reasonable level of additional financial commitment.

Well it certainly would be a weird time to announce he's leaving.

Is the Kent game an easy win? They seem to be much improved. UMass should be an easy win considering they got demolished by Kent, and basically everyone other than Buffalo and the FCS game that they lost.

really was an up and down game. first half was all defense and didn't get anything from the offense but somehow pulled it together in the second half.  

 

Really is there to go 6-6. if I was the head coach. i would focus on UMASS like it was a playoff game and a must win. it is the only game that matters. 

 

they cannot overlook them and think they are an easy win. they took buffalo all the way to the end and should have won. They have an edge rusher, #16 white, that is one of the top in the country and he plays all over. Whartman is there now and this will be a special game for him. I am sure there will be a lot of incentive for his guys to play hard for him. 

 

One game at a time, UMASS is the most important game of the season. AN ABSOLUTE MUST WIN FOR JOE MO AND THE ZIPS !

It's not an easy win. It would be if we were a better team. Still a game we should win and be favored in, but we can't expect to just show up and pencil in a win.

Just wondering if anybody knows the last time was that Kent and Akron had MAC wins on the same day?
