I did the same thing with the hat too, even though I don’t really wear hats. It does look pretty nice next to my 'Zippers in Seattle' hat from last year though. Quote

I just gift money to the collective instead in those circumstances. There is no COGS attached to my donation and I don't have extra clothing that I won't wear taking up space. Seems like a win/win.
