RoyalBlu Posted April 30 Report Posted April 30 He looks to be the perfect roster add at this point. No matter if he starts or comes off the bench. At minimum, he should be an 8pt, 6reb, 20-minute guy with ability to deliver much more at any spot along the baseline. Those kind of players are hard to find. 2 Quote

zipsrule Posted May 2 Report Posted May 2 It would hurt more if he were a serviceable backup big. 2 Quote
kreed5120 Posted May 3 Report Posted May 3 Interesting add for UMass. They received a commitment from Abdullah Ahmed from BYU. Last season he averaged 1.4 blocks while scoring 1.3ppg. It might be the first time I recall seeing someone averaging more blocks than ppg. 1 Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted Wednesday at 01:03 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 01:03 PM Strong left hand dribble! Odd to see a small guy film with no 3-point highlights. Quote

Ford has seen Max for the last few years. The fact that he was one of the first additions to the team says a lot about what they think of him IMO. 2 Quote

blueandgold Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I like seeing the aggressiveness going to the basket and willingness to play through the contact by all three of these guys. 1 Quote

It's interesting to see the directions Akron and PCCC have gone respectively. I don't believe PCCC brought in any wing guys - they're all guards and (shorter) post players. That's how Akron was built in the early-mid Dambrot days and Kent used to be built like Akron is now. Roster composition and physicality is completely reversed. We'll see if Akron has the shooters, but I predict PCCC will struggle with Akron's size/athleticism/rotation flexibility/physicality. I think a lot of teams will. Quote
