For an open handed slap? Totally lost composure, but at least someone is showing that they are pissed off and frustrated by this train wreck of a team. They just march in and march out with no emotion every freaking week. If he never wore a zip’s uniform again all the other players would be so jealous. 😂

I saw two punches after pursuing the kid.

He may have found a way out!

i think he has been very predictable at akron EXCEPT for a fake punt at your own 20 down by 4 to seal your loss and let your players down.

that i admit was a creative way to throw in the towel for your players and let them down

Yeah that was very creative.

Goodrich will sort out the best direction for the program afterwards. Of that I have no doubt. I just hope he is with us long enough to see the positive outcome of his decisions. he is destined for an athletic program far bigger than us.

Not if he brings back a 1-11 JM.

All you ignorant fine dining basement living assholes owe me an apology.

If you are offended then YES I AM TALKING TO YOU.

I told yall years ago NoMoorHead was hot garbage.

And yall silenced and banned me for it.

Some of you need to go with him when he is finally fired because yall are indeed part of the problem.

Hot garbage enablers. Absolute joke of a football program.

I'm at the beach today. What happened?

Took the kids to the zoo today and didn’t get back til about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter and turned it off with about 6 minutes left out of frustration. In that time, I saw multiple Kent TDs, an interception, the worst fake punt I’ve seen in my life, 3 pass interference calls, and a fumbled kickoff recovered by Kent. Also pretty inexplicable play calling by Joe Mo (3 straight passes for a 3 and out when the running game was gettting 5+ YPC the drive before.

Hate to say it, but I think I’m out on Akron football until something changes. I don’t think Joe is HC material in this era of NCAA sports, but also not naive enough to think anything changes regardless of who the coach is unless we actually invest in the program in ways that matter. Dire situation.

All the things.  How's the water?

I don't actually go to the beach. I can see it, but I don't go. If by "water", you mean Coors Light, pretty good.

Pretty much my thoughts for the last 2-3 years.

Edit: I was a bit more invested than usual this year as the viral promotion actually got me interested for a bit. Along with the false hope that we could build off of last year and at least be watchable in what's a pathetic MAC. Either way I'm glad you got to enjoy time with your family. It was a better 3 hours spent.

I mean whatever you like to do at the beach, so this works for me!

Every week the team makes the same mistakes.  Pass interference penalties. False start penalties. Personal fouls. Missed assignments. Burning timeouts due to late play calls and wrong personnel packages.  There is no discipline.

This falls squarely on the coaches.

Joe Mo may have been a good offensive coordinator in the past but he has been abysmal at Akron. Bottom line is that he is not head coaching material.  Hopefully he takes a job elsewhere this offseason and Akron will reset, again.

I think we can blame many of the offensive woes on the early season departure of offensive coordinator Marty Whims.

I mean they won that game, and I'm not sure Joe would coach them to a win against RMU right now...

players could have built some momentum or at least a moment if they won that game today. Moorehead threw in the towel quit on them and wants out.

3 timeouts down by four running the ball all over them, that fake punt was the white flag saying i want out...

he quit on this team. they probably won't win another game this year. the players didn't deserve this.

Running once and going to halftime 7-7 with the ball and 30 seconds was the white flag moment

i said the same exact thing about the end of the half ...

kent wasn't doing chickenshit stuff like that they were actually playing to win...

why not try to make passes or try to get into field goal territory? try anything to get some points before half show some life. run the ball walk into half blah blah blah no life who cares no life no emotion

They had better hope nobody ever sees it.

A lot of things to complain about, but I don't feel that's one of them. Realistically what yard line would have we had to get there to give our field goal kicker, who already missed a chip shot, a realistic chance? 30 seconds and no timeouts doesn't give you much wiggle room. Odds are far greater you turn the ball over trying to force something down field and give Kent a chance at a last second field goal.

Edit: If there was a minute or more on the clock or we had timeouts left I would have been more inclined to push the needle.
