Realistically what yard line would have we had to get there to give our field goal kicker, who already missed a chip shot, a realistic chance? 30 seconds and no timeouts doesn't give you much wiggle room. Odds are far greater you turn the ball over trying to force something down field and give Kent a chance at a last second field goal. I see the argument, and honestly you may be right. But my counter is that you're 1-6 and need to show your guys you believe they can go get some points. Quote

Edit: If there was a minute or more on the clock or we had timeouts left I would have been more inclined to push the needle. I agree with what you are saying considering the TO situation. But we have done that kind of thing at the end of the first half multiple times this year. No trust in the offense Quote
72 Roo Posted 56 minutes ago Report Posted 56 minutes ago It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see Joe Is not a head coach. Most of our downfall today was related to coaching. And for the record I have been a JoMo fan. Enough! We keep committing the same mistakes that good coaching should correct. So what do you do if you are Goodrich? I see three options: You ask Joe to resign and forego his last year b/c you can't afford the buyout. You sweeten the deal as much as you realistically can knowing that you have little to work with Joe refuses to resign so you pay him to stay home while an interim takes next year. During that time you conduct your search knowing the program will probably gets worse, but at least you are preparing to wipe the slate clean and rebuild You keep Joe and the program deteriorates to the worst in D1, if it isn't there now. At least there is Sac State. This is one of the saddest days in Zip athletics regardless of the sport. Quote
ZippyDoo Posted 36 minutes ago Report Posted 36 minutes ago has to be 1 or 2. Can't be 3.... let him go be with franklin Quote

Roggow had a decent day passing except for the 1 pick. I'm not sure how much eligibility anyone will have left but then neither does the NCAA. Quote
ZippyDoo Posted 26 minutes ago Report Posted 26 minutes ago Gant was very impressive today as was the O line. there was nice running lanes. that's why the genius phrase doesn't fit anymore for me ..: Gant is running his ass off and you fake punt with all three timeouts and 7:41 left in the game? pretty sure that's Mason best game this year too.
