I still expect Duke to win this game by double figures tbh.

#8 is underrated. Just the fact that the next week the world shut down gives it extra aura. Honorable mention for me is 2022 regular season against WMU at the Jar, 10 point comeback in final 2 minutes

#3 for me. Give Lyles credit for that play though. I think I was there for 5 of these. One of my favorite moments was senior night for Ivey. He got a steal at half court that led to a wide open dunk.

I'll go with #3. The defensive stop plus the fastbreak lay-in was an amazing combo.

Welp High Point winning as a 12 seed actually makes me feel less confident in the Zips chances tomorrow. We can't have two 12 seed updates can we?

I think both are true. Our defense did improve greatly along the way, but teams sure came to play us this year. Some teams just didn’t miss.

I would gladly take an 8/9 seed if it means I get to play teams like Ohio State and TCU round 1. I'll worry about the next round when I get there.

The only teams left trom Ohio are Akron, Miami and Wright State.

You generally don't want the 8/9 seed line if you hope to go on a run. Now TCU likely goes on to lose by 15 to Duke.

Troy is looking like crap today too. All the mid-major losses we had are looking bad now.

In the era of NIL, these are probably both unbreakable.

These power conference schools being locked into 8/9 matchups is BS. TCU and OSUcks BLOW.

I feel our defense improved considerably from earlier in the year. We were around ~#250 in defense per Kenpom when MAC play started. We currently stand at #114. If we played defense in November/December like we played in February/March we would have won those games. I feel inserting both Young and Halligan into the starting lineup played a part in that. They helped set the tone early defensively. Edit: Look at opening play by Halligan against Kent as a prime example. Those are the plays that energize a team.
