  1. Past hour
  2. Thank you both. Miami OH is why I asked. Their attendance didn't really solidify itself until MAC season, so I wasn't sure if it included the first half of last year, too. Akron being $100k better than Kent is really something else.
  3. Yes, these type of numbers are almost always announced 1 year in arrears, which can make them confusing. This is further backed by the fact you see Miami so far down the list. One would have to think they would be near or at the top if we were looking at the most recent season numbers since they sold out half their games at Millett.
  4. I would guess Shunnar since he's the associate head coach. The role Dustin had prior.
  5. More in line with academic year than calendar year, though it may not exactly match up. Just their reporting period. Since this is FY25, it would have been based off of the season we played Arizona and not this most recent season.
  6. Forgive my potential ignorance but is FY2025 for Universities the calendar year or the academic year?
  7. Today
  8. Dustin was responsible for scheduling under JG. I wonder who will take this on under Dustin.
  9. Interesting add for UMass. They received a commitment from Abdullah Ahmed from BYU. Last season he averaged 1.4 blocks while scoring 1.3ppg. It might be the first time I recall seeing someone averaging more blocks than ppg.
  10. Now that the roster is set, keep your heads on a swivel for schedule announcements. Curious to see what type of schedule gets put together.

  12. Zips clinch the number one seed at Firestone!
  13. It would hurt more if he were a serviceable backup big.
  14. Zips softball gets the walkoff win to put them on the brink of a regular season title! Zips have two games left (one today and one tomorrow). NIU has one game left (starting now). Zips need one win or a NIU loss to clinch the title.
  15. huge whiff by Dustin.
  16. He has no shame.😱
  17. This one hurts. I will never forgive John for poaching our guys.
  18. Malik getting (I think) his first ever MLS start today. At least the first this season. EDIT: Actually it's his 2nd start this season but first since the first match back on February 21st.
  19. Akron Zipped up has a new post: https://akronzippedup.substack.com/p/in-the-blink-of-an-eye-a-new-era
  20. I feel it's telling more and more international players are coming to America now that NIL is a thing. Earnings very widely my league. There are probably only a few international leagues paying better than college basketball.
  21. I would be interested to see what Zips go on to earn as pros. What do those contracts that Castaneda, Isaiah Gray, etc. look like? How much do Zips make as pros vs. what they get through NIL? Doesn't pretty much everyone go on to play pro ball somewhere?
  22. To nobodies surprise.
  23. Has Perkins' brother landed anywhere?
  24. Last week
  25. Is there anyone from Concord worth getting a look as a walk-on for a year. Maybe with a chance to earn a scholly the year after?
  26. I saw we recently announced a new sponsor, but if didn’t appear to be for the jersey patch. Good to see we are bringing more in regardless.
  27. Thanks, I thought that was a done deal. His failure to sign now makes sense. It is weird in that before the college money, players could not wait to make money and left college early. Now they want to stay in college to make more money than they ever could as a pro.
