Or it was quietly discussed to make sure Miami OH has the best player to help their image. Even if Miami OH loses 1st round, I'm half expecting the tourney MVP to be Suder still. We will be so lucky just to breathe the same Rocket Arena air as him.
-
The exit fee reduces to $75m in a few years if I'm not mistaken. That'll be picked up in a heartbeat.
-
They might also expect Tavari to win Tournament MVP. Sharing the love so to speak.

Since the coaches vote on this, the only possible reason I can think of is Akron "fatigue".
-
Interested enough to pay the massive exit fee to the ACC for inferior products? Wouldn't it make more sense, and cost nothing, to just wait out the inevitable separation of P4 schools from G5 and the NCAA?

So you're saying Kent and Miami OH (#3 and #9 respectively in Luck) should watch out? -
Sounds like they'll be well rested to whack the crap out of Skaljac's hand/wrist.
-
Not TP, but according to Verbal Commits we've offered JUCO 6'4" 2G Mason Costello from Indian Hills CC.
-
Let's not act like the Big Ten and SEC wouldn't be interested in the aforementioned brands. The Big 12 would also be interested in a few, including some of the others I'd imagine.

The former #1 team in kenpom luck, Liberty. Loses in the CUSA quarterfinals to 16-17 Missouri state -
I'll be curious to see how UMass starts out tomorrow. Because of the imbalanced number of teams in the MAC this year and their havibg the "bye" in the final week, they haven't played a game since March 3rd.
-
The B12 is multiple steps behind the P2. It's also at the very least a half step ahead of the ACC.

The first upset of the MAC tournament has happened. #5 Ohio just edges #4 CMU in the womens bracket. (And #6 Toledo is looking very solid against #3 UMass).
-
It was posted to X by a spring practice invite.
-
Where are they going to go and who is going to pay their exit fee for the ACC?
-
It will be what the PAC-12 will be this coming season. Pretty much on par with what the AAC was 5 years ago.
-
Me either. The ACC will be all but dead in a few years when Clemson, FSU, Miami, Duke, and UNC all get poached.
-
That makes a lot more sense, hahaha! I just don't see the ACC at the Big 12's level right now.

Goodrich to Syracuse?

Well they did go with a MAC AD! Maybe he’ll bring TK with him to Syracuse haha. -
Very odd that they only referenced KenPom - not NET. Makes Miami OH look even worse lol.
-
I'll give you every game, but it's pretty standard stuff. 😅 Miami over UMass Toledo over BG Akron over Buffalo Kent over Ohio Miami over Toledo Akron over Kent Akron over Miami
-
Fantastic article on the Mac tournament from CBS sports.

Akron over Miami by 15 in the MACC. We come out super motivated and play well while Miami is cocky about having already secured an NCAAT bid (in their minds) and are unfocused. Miami has has players get into foul trouble because the refs actually call a fair game where Suder can't just bulldoze through the lane with his shoulder down and no intention of getting a quality shot. I wouldn't be surprised if Miami losses to either UMass or Toledo though either.
