I read an article today about a good rant Kirby Smart had at some SEC event yesterday. Apparently, some collectives are paying their high school recruits to remain committed to their school after they initially commit. Some are getting up to $20,000 a month. If they decommit, they have to repay the collective. Just another ugly wrinkle.

Xavier picked up a couple highly regarded transfers and will be a tough conference opponent on the road.

Hate to see this. I thought he was one of the good ones in athletic administration. Is Sam Maxwell far behind? I also think she is good at her job.

Camden Stockton has moved on from Akron. He did a nice job promoting basketball last season.
