Nobody goes to Tuesday/Wednesday games. I reject out of hand that high school football keeps stadiums from being full. It assumes the addressable market is only people who attend high school games. There are people who believe the only addressable market for college football in Ohio either go to, or watch OSU games. It's complete nonsense. BG sold out their game against Toledo this year, and the OSU vs Texas game started at exactly the same time. There is a market for people who want to attend college football games. The MAC needs to tap into it instead of being afraid of the many excuses for not doing something. The MAC needs to make it such that high schools are changing their game times for the MAC game of the week. For the record, I think high school football is trash and haven't attended a game in over 10 years.

ChatGPT is great, but can a server rack take a tshirt cannon shot dead center from 10 yards?

I think Arizona was bigger and more athletic at all positions including their bigs. I had to look them up, but here’s a few that Eric and Harris might have helped guard against. 6-4 pg Caleb Love, 6-6 F Trey Townsend and 6-8 F Carter Bryant. Maybe it wouldn’t have mattered much, but I remember these 3 guys for a reason.

That is a great idea, in theory only. Now your direct competition is High School Football and that will be a non starter for a lot of Football fans that would have to pick between the two.... Edit: Now that I think about you idea more, lets just start playing at 9:30am on Saturday Morning as the lead in for College Gameday(as a example)

I think our problem against Arizona was we didn't have enough 6-9 and 6-10 guys. They had athletic bigs.

He’s going to retire from pro ball before he takes an NFL snap. LOL

I still have PTSD from last year's game when they bullied the Zips.
-
I was at the game last night at Assembly Hall. Nate was the best player on the court in the first half for KSU. Things went downhill a bit in the second half as the Hoosiers surged back. I have family in Bloomington who have IU ties and season tickets, so I had on a red B-Town shirt and a gold Zips "Z" hat. I passed a couple in the hall who yelled Go Zips, so we spoke briefly and agreed we were showing some support for Nate. Too bad he had to play in those lavender uniforms.

Wish we could get a signature win against a marquee name brand school like Cincy! Good for the MAC as a whole though.
-
That game dropped Cinci about 35 spots on Kenpom and moved EMU up ~130 spots. I absolutely love it.
-
Eastern upsets Cinci.
-
EMU pulls off the upset.
-
Big win by EMU. I wonder what the spread was for their players. Always good wins for the MAC though.
-
EMU currently up by 13 vs Cincy. Toledo got smoked by Belmont. Buffalo stayed undefeated by beating Bucknell by 2. BUGS beat VMI. Miami OH came back to comfortably beat UNCG.

I had to got back to August 2nd....to find this topic.... Zips have added a forward from Atlanta United ....to the class that will start in Fall 2027. This young man will turn 17 in January 2026. I like how he writes....and how appreciative that he is...for those that have helped in his development https://www.instagram.com/p/DRfq03kiQYL/?hl=en&img_index=1 In April 2024, Ivory Covington was called up to the U15YMNT https://www.instagram.com/p/C5zD7sJpmla/?hl=en At the Generation Adidas Cup in April 2024. the top drawer soccer writer was impressed by 9 players Below is what the writer had to say about the newest Zips commit https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/under-the-radar-u15-prospects-at-ga-cup_aid53237 Ivory Covington, Atlanta United – While there’s an argument that Covington’s imminent call-up to the U.S. Under-15 team makes him ineligible for this list. But his performances caught the eye for Atlanta in the 09 age group. A dynamic right winger, he presses well and can finish. His goal against Manchester United helped set the tone for Atlanta’s performance at the tournament.

I'm not surprised because he has the size, athleticism, and skill set to play at that level. He just wasn't good enough against that level of competition to carry an offense on his back. He's surrounded by more talent so can just settle into his role.

I was curious to see how Nate Johnson is doing this year and I must say it's better than I would've expected. Obviously we'll see how things go when they get into conference play, but so far he's started all 7 games and is averaging 13.6 points, 6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. https://www.kstatesports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/nate-johnson/12756

This is why I don't see Joe as an actual candidate for any of the HC jobs that are open.
-
Miami down 8 at the half against 1-6 UNCG.
-
Also this is sweet from the where I’m from store $63, cheaper than most hoodies in the bookstore/team shop
-
Yes, the only jobs he should be a serious candidate for would be OC as that's the only position he has had measurable success at. It would be hard for UConn, or anyone, to sell him to their fans or boosters as a serious candidate. They aren't going to care to hear about what limitations he might have experienced at Akron. They will just see his record.

I haven’t been in a little bit but fan outfitters at the summit mall has expanded their zips collection. Mostly all the stuff you’d see online thru the fanatics universe in a store. I’ll upload pictures if I can’t figure out how to make them smaller files
