As an update on the tweet embedding issue - we continue to work on it. It seems like a server issue, but we are working with Invision as well. We will give everyone a free February as compensation for the disturbance. After that, rates will return to normal.5 points

we played Prep in baseball once (gd it gets cold and windy up there in April) and one of your players squared to bunt and fouled it off his face and broke his nose unrelated but that's always the first thing I think of when I think of Erie Prep3 points

It will be interesting to see if Enrique can keep up his current rebounding pace. If he does, he'll probably climb above his current #5 national ranking. Look who's at #11. https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1/current/individual/1373 points

I wonder if we have reached out to Ron Carr OT in portal from Duke, originally from Solon? Would be a nice addition and fairly local. https://247sports.com/Player/Ron-Carr-46057278/3 points

I am amazed that so far we have not lost any player of consequence. Perhaps that is crude and too blunt as all of these players in the portal are probably good guys who only want to compete and play. Well under JoMo you are welcome to compete, but PT is probably going to be limited as he upgrades the talent on the team. Keep going Joe. Last season showed we aren't as deep as we need to be. I look for more players hitting the portal.3 points

Good for Fessler. May be wrong, but I'd assume Joe Mo will still be calling the plays.2 points

A rising star in college football gets a big promotion https://bit.ly/3IJTo60 For a guy like JoeMo whose true love is coaching offense, this speaks volumes to me.2 points

One BIG dude. 6-5, 255 Edge. So far we're his only FBS offer; laundry list of FCS offers.2 points

With Kent's OT loss to Miami tonight, Zips are only unbeaten team in MAC.2 points

I know Fessler was 2nd in line anyway (as far as play calling), but I wonder if this is a title/pay bump or if Fess will actually get to call some plays.1 point

I'm a little slowwww this morning. I am functioning at a PCCC level of reading comprehension.1 point

I picked it up during overtime...which took FOREVER. the women's game is so odd, especially with the gamesmanship on the timeouts. I'm tempted to watch a replay of the Toledo/NIU game (well, just the 4th quarter) just to watch the Toledo coach's head explode as they blow a 17 point lead.1 point

Thanks Captain, not complaining, just trying to explain what looks like drunken responses ๐1 point

The heart wants what the heart wants...and the heart wanted...Utah Valley? His stats should only get better and they move into the conference portion of the season, facing the likes of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, California Baptist State, Abeline Christian, Utah Tech, Tarleton State and the other heavy-hitters of the WAC.1 point

EMU really does have a perfect basketball arena. Too bad it goes to waste on the emu's. It belongs across from Canal Park.1 point

Haven't seen it announced anywhere, but 247 is showing Tony Grimes as being in the portal. https://247sports.com/college/akron/Season/2023-Football/TransferPortal/?institutionkey=240651 point

As long as it isn't a replay of February 8, 2020, at the JAR. "Spottsville missed them both!" One of the craziest, heart-pounding endings at the JAR. I swear a decent contingent of fans left before X (Part 1) hit the 3. Right up there with Western Michigan game last year.1 point

Interesting play from the NIU game. https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/354231751 point

Seems like we could retrofit the JAR similar to EMU Gervin Center. Turn the track into Suites. https://cloud.threshold360.com/locations/8466438-747904955/thresholds1 point

Outstanding win. X playing was a surprise to me, but very much a welcome one. We had X1.0, this is X2.0. Who will be X3.0? We need to keep recruiting X's. This team can do it. Groce teams can always do it.1 point

And a tough gutty win on the road, even with one starter scoring no points. Zips have started off 10-2, best start in program history. Might be something growing here, besides what coach Jackson is growing herself.๐ถ Fun to watch her pat her stomach during the game, wonder who she is trying to calm down. That baby is probably going to be able to handle stress really well. ๐1 point
