The NBA has been doing it for about a decade now. Personally, I'm hoping for the Goodyear Wingfoot for 2 reasons. First, because it's an iconic Akron brand. Secondly, I think it would compliment the jersey well without being a eyesore.

I think one or two from this board would be fine because I'm sure a lot of our opinions would be repetitive

This would require Goodyear to have an interest in supporting UA athletics which a previous athletics admin told me was not the case. Hopefully that has changed because I agree about it being a recognizable, complimentary addition to the jersey.

Now, the game has been moved to the Crew Training fields? Do they even have seating at the training fields? and Marshall has to play at Ohio State home field for the championship game? and Bowling Green and Michigan State are playing at BG? What happened to all of the games being played at Historic Crew stadium? and Michigan looks like they completely bailed on the spring league.... the spring league has been a big disappointment this year.

This coming season teams are allowed to wear a sponsor patch on their jerseys. A lot of other schools that have announced deals said they plan to largely use the funds for revenue sharing. Ball State hasn't signed any deals yet that I'm aware of, but I wonder if they plan to use this as a significant revenue source to help fund the increase.

Re: Big Stank. I have been holding off my thoughts on our former coach. Trying to let a little time heal the wounds. Coach didn't play him and he was clearly better than a few that got more minutes. Probably why he is transferring. 6'9" ball handler with offensive skills. Yes he was raw but he could of helped us.

I used to look forward to the Blue & Gold Spring Game every year. More of a benchmark of getting through another tough NE Ohio winter & it's always fun to see which players stand out as by this time every year I'm already looking forward to Zips football. But it's been a dud since JoeMo's taken over. If they're worried some of our player will get poached before next season then okay. I trust JoeMo & Co. But I'm still disappointed. Anyhow, go Zips.

I believe OSU Is having one this year. Our recent Spring games have been glorified practices. They used to be a fun Spring event with the surplus equipment sale but they've become nothing special. Last year's event in the fieldhouse was a snoozer.

Idea: teams/players should have to sign two-year contracts. If this included the redshirt year this would still give the athlete an opportunity to transfer two times in his/her career if they would so choose. Sound fair?
