    Nobody says anything about the attendance? 4,217 Zips fans. Biggest ever crowd for a game played before New Years, and the second largest student attendance in the Dambrot era.

    I guess I'll be the one to bring up the officiating. Horrible. Just horrible. New rules or no, inconsistency was the name of the game. Either call things a certain way all game or don't call it. They had as much to do with knocking the wind out of our sails as anything else last night. These Big South guys were right there with the worst of the MAC refs.

    The Q has running lights on their stairways. The JAR, with wooden bleacher seating, obviously does not.

    I don't think he should have played today, even for a few snaps. It's unfortunate that both of our QBs are injured to the point that neither should really be playing at all. Pohl is delaying getting surgery until the season is over. If Hirschman wasn't also injured, he might have gone through with it already.

    Really not much we can learn from this game. It mostly serves coach Kest by giving her film to make the players work harder on defense.

    The scrimmage tonight will be telling. Not how they do against the competition, but how well they look compared to the upperclassmen playing the same positions.

    Adding the time line will be huge. Too many teams would milk 20 or 25 seconds dribbling around in the backcourt before trying to score. Too many teams that would love to win a game by a score of 2-0.

    What a joke that Kacie Cassel didn't make the All-MAC teams. Not even third team or honorable mention. All she did was lead the entire NCAA in assists per game.

    Have you ever been to a game? It's much more akin to a Cracker Barrel.

    Spencer, NY is in the middle of nowhere. College football is a complete nonfactor in that region, and if you're not a traditional New England private university then people have probably never heard of you if you don't have a state in your name to tell them where you're at.

    Doing that would reduce the overall capacity to 4,100. However, there is enough room to push the upper bowl seats forward, eliminating the track and adding about three more rows on every side. We would end up with around 4,500 seats, which is a pretty nice size.
