I went to the game at Dick Stadium in 2010 which was their Homecoming, so they actually had a pretty nice crowd which was a weird mixture of non-football fans consisting of inbred Portage County locals, hippies & elderly alumni who reminded me of that batshit crazy teacher we all remember from high school. I stood up to cheer and was called Akron scum by one of their douchebag students. Pure class.

I did not see Moses McCray, C.J. Mizell or C.J. James on the sidelines Saturday. Austin Bailey and Nmesoma Okafor got quite a bit of playing time. Defense started the game with a different look at LB, with Justin March in the middle flanked by Jatavis Brown and Dylan Evans.

I enjoyed my visit to the Glass Bowl. It is an old stadium, but they have modernized it nicely. It has some character and charm.

Last year the Zips went on the road and played Tennessee tough for 3 quarters, came home and lost a shootout to Miami 56-49. This year the Zips went on the road and played Michigan tough for 4 quarters & are going to win a shootout with Louisiana 56-49.

I know I am in the minority here, but I will say it again. I like our band and the Marching 110 gimmicks do nothing for me whatsoever. I also agree with zesty about Galen.
