QB room: Bullack--He can run, but can we move the ball against 8 men on the line of scrimage? Wasel--Who knows? In coming freshman--good luck. Potential JUCO or portal addition--Maybe our best hope.

In those '50's, football players played both ways except the QB and defensive sprcialist. They were also limited to 33 players on the travle squad. I can't rermember if there were any transfer rules.

Kentucky is not in the mix for a shot at the national championship. I would love to talk to a recriut (HS, JUCO, or transfer) about the chance to go up against the best. If that prospect shy's away from that oportunity, it might be time to move on. What is the difference between a 3-star and a 4-star? The 4 is committed to one of the big boys. We can give the 3 a chance to PLAY 4 years and show he was 4 star material.

First 8 games, total 4th quarter scoring-28 that includes the last miniute scoop and score in Morgan state game. That says a lot. The staff and players had a lot more faith than I. Before this come back, I could envision anyone with talent, players and staff, entering the portal. Some of the comments in the post game presser convinced me that this group is commited to turn things around. Lingard, "I'll be back." Give him a miniute with our recriutes. JU came through in a way I didn't expect. MVP? He will need to share it with Lingard. I felt Lingard put the Zips on his shoulders several times and carried the team to victory.

These guys have had 3 months of practice since spring. It's time to see what they can do. There won't be much pressure with mostly parents and girl friends in attendance.

That didn't work out too well when we tried TB. I know that a win over Cant is top priority, but l think our best chance is to give our young QB's a chance. They will have a few extra days to work with the No one's, and remember they have been leading our scout team against a D that is probably much better than Cants. If l see JU or TB start next Wednessday, I'll go straight to the hard stuff to ease my pain. Remember JU is rated 159 out of 160! I don't think TB has enough attemps to be rated.

Pro Football Focus rates QB play. Out of 160 QB's with minimal action, Jeff Underperformer is listed 159; one better than Iowa's Deacon Hill. I say again; can either of the young QB's perform any worse? It truely is time to find out!!
