Game 1 Temple

Just an FYI, the game is on ESPN+. So if you have Spectrum, that could cause a problem as they are in a contract dispute/renegotiation with ESPN parent company Disney. A way around that is either YouTube TV (different app from regular YouTube) or with Disney+ which also gives Hulu. Hulu has ESPN+. Or I guess could just do Hulu itself, although I’m not entirely sure if that’s an option anymore. I’m not sure if these apps are offering free trials or not, but I guess it goes without saying, if you decide to do a free trial and intend on canceling might want to make yourself some kind of note to cancel before getting charged.

Wanted to make everyone aware before tuning in a few mins before kickoff just to be disappointed that the game is blacked out on spectrum.

Gooooooooooood morning Philadelphia!!!! GO ZIPS!!!!!!

This is such a fascinating matchup and I have no idea what to expect. It should be a pretty good game, I’d imagine. Would love to see the Zips open a can of whoop-ass, but I think they could be slow to come on like last year—maybe taking 2-3 weeks to get into a groove instead of 4-5. Hope I’m wrong though. It’s a great day to be a Zip!

The ESPN betting talking head on SportsCenter just featured this matchup and said we should all bet the Zips and the points!  Spoke highly of Moorhead and DJ!

I just seen this too. Tried to record it to post but the play back messed up.

Stanford Steve is replacing the "Bear" as the GameDay betting guy.

Thanks for the heads up.  Just signed up for espn plus to watch zips football and basketball.  Another fix is to stream through computer and use hdmi connection to watch through tv.  I will use that if cannot coonect any other way.

ESPN+ can also be accessed via the ESPN app on your smart TV or Roku if you have one as well. This would free up your computer monitor and you can watch another game (or several if you have YouTubeTV's multiview).

The contract dispute should have no bearing on the ability to watch this game.  An ESPN+ subscription is required.

When streaming in the ESPN app, games that are on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, etc.) and ESPN3 are controlled by your television provider (these games currently not available due to the dispute).  Anything that is ESPN+ is a separate subscription.

Suit yourself. This isn’t something I care to debate today. Looking forward to the game.
