Blue & Gold Posted December 24, 2023 Report Posted December 24, 2023 EMU certainly didn't represent the MAC well last night. Quote
Let'sGoZips94 Posted December 24, 2023 Report Posted December 24, 2023 EMU in bowl games is a black eye for the MAC (pun intended). Quote
Blue & Gold Posted December 24, 2023 Report Posted December 24, 2023 Wow. I just watched the video from last night & that's downright assault. He could've been arrested for that. Quote

Should have been taken away in handcuffs. 1 Quote

I hope the MAC takes some action. Quote

72 Roo Posted December 24, 2023 Report Posted December 24, 2023 I don't know what his issue was but he needs to be out of EMU football for good. The school and the MAC should offer and apology. The local DA should charge him with assault. If they have an issue with the venue being in South Alabama territory then don't go. The MAC is looking bad enough, don't make it worse. 1 Quote

zipsrule Posted December 26, 2023 Report Posted December 26, 2023 BG is up next. They are matched up with Minnesota in the Quick Lane Bowl at Ford Field. Quote

GP1 Posted December 31, 2023 Author Report Posted December 31, 2023 Toledo played a great game in a loss. People who think the MAC stinks and cannot compete against other G5 schools are just wrong. In fact, the G5 bowl games are very interesting. Give me a G5 conference. Well be just fine. Quote
ZippyRulz Posted December 31, 2023 Report Posted December 31, 2023 (edited) Rockets probably dropped off a bit without D. Finn and god knows who else. Of course Wyoming was probably missing a few players also. At this point the bowl games are more like next-year spring scrimmages than current-year finales. LOL at Georgia 63 (hissy)F(it)SU 3. I thought Ohio was assisted more by GA Southern’s mistakes as opposed to what they actually caused. The QB alone had 16 interceptions going into the game. Gifting the ball to defenses is nothing new to him. Seemed to me Ohio should have won by more considering the turnovers. In any case, they have more depth on the OL and DL than most MAC programs. Their freshmen also stepped up. This is the way that I saw it. And almost all the reflections by Georgia Southern fans were on their QB's failures. Very similar to the way he cost them the Wisconsin game in which they had an early lead in Madison. 1 Quote
Zippy87 Posted January 10, 2024 Report Posted January 10, 2024 (edited) I think this would actually be Kent lol Edited January 10, 2024 by Zippy87 Quote

East Carolina and UL Monroe were also 2 win teams. Not sure how Vandy was picked over those two. In any case, curious to see how this plays out. Quote

LZIp Posted January 10, 2024 Report Posted January 10, 2024 Can’t imagine teams would actually want to play in that. Quote
