Three straight losing seasons with the team performing progressively worse with each season and then tried throwing his players under the bus, despite what seems like a pretty good NIL investment. Not sure why K State would keep him? Quote

ZippyRulz Posted yesterday at 04:16 PM Report Posted yesterday at 04:16 PM Travis Steele is mentioned as a candidate for KState in an ON3 newletter email I received. I'd imagine he may have several opportunities to move after this season. Quote

Given that's where his trust fund wife is from and they just built a multi-million dollar home in Cincinnati I imagine that would be his preferred destination. Somehow, I don't see Travis doing that. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Brad Underwood always looks like he's 75 years old and coming off of a bender. Sprinkle likely needs a little more seasoning at Utah State. Shertz is a possibility. I'd drive Travis to Manhattan. 1 Quote
Illini Zip Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Underwood played at Kansas State and was an assistant coach there under Huggins and then Frank Martin. Underwood and Martin have the same personality. Like someone pee’d in their cornflakes. I’m not really a fan of either. Maybe Underwood takes the K-State job because of his familiarity with the program, but I have to think the move from Illinois to K-State is a lateral move at best. As far as Nate Johnson, I feel for the kid. But I think this should be a cautionary tale to Zips players as to why chasing the bag isn't always the best option. Quote
