Reslife4Life Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 Amani is always good for at least one forceful block per game Quote
1981 grad Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 And I spoke to soon. My feed has started sucking again after the last commercial. And Ball State is coming back. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted February 26 Author Report Posted February 26 So Ball has a guy nicknamed "Fat" but it isn't Sparks? 1 1 Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted February 26 Author Report Posted February 26 Some awful offense and shot selection by the Zips late. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted February 26 Author Report Posted February 26 That's twice in recent weeks the Zips have inbounded the ball into the corner and been trapped. That's awful. I taught 5th graders not to do that. 2 1 Quote
Illini Zip Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 How does Tavari not get a time out there? Quote
Reslife4Life Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 Good by Amani to not foul sparks there Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted February 26 Author Report Posted February 26 Not exactly a confidence inspiring finish with PCCC coming up. Quote
1981 grad Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 How not to close out the game. However, the Zips played well till the very end. Good teams win close games and Akron had some clutch offensive rebounds and played much better than Saturday. 1 Quote
Reslife4Life Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 As bad as that ending was, if this was any of the last 2,3,4 years we would have lost that one. We are now 15-0 in Q4 games. Taking care of business 1 Quote

Something @Let'sGoZips94 has mentioned is Tavari likes to play iso-ball. He can be very effective with it, but too much of it absolutely kills our offensive rotation. 1 Quote

LZIp Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 Sloppy ending, but I’ll take the win…especially when 4 of our starters are in a slump IMO. Ball State has some ballers but is now .500 overall, losers in conference play, and their former star freshman has regressed every year since. Think Lewis is a bit overrated. 1 Quote

Sitting on his keester in Bloomington followed by 6 months of Fortnight will do that to you. It does not appear that there was a disciplined off-season. That guy should dominate the MAC. He's not even playing like the best big residing in Muncie. Joe Dunn mentioned that the Ball State coaching staff had said they thought Sparks was in good shape. 👀 Quote
Illini Zip Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 So who were those imposters wearing Akron jerseys in Athens? 1 Quote
Reslife4Life Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 I never watched their game but I imagine BSU vs BG has a good battle with Sparks vs Johnson. The way sparks looked today Johnson would be able to go off Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 12 hours ago, Reslife4Life said: He read this at halftime He'll need to make more than 1 to get of the schneid. Lyles was a combined 8-12 in 3-pointers against St Mary's and Omaha towards the beginning of the season. Complete revelation. He's a combined 10-46 in all other games. 21.7% It's like he's possessed by 2023-24 Mikal Dawson. Quote
Zippy87 Posted February 26 Report Posted February 26 Wilson is now 6-24 (25%) from deep over the last 5 games. We really need him to start hitting again. 1 Quote
