Mr. Pinky and his squad head into the JAR Friday night at 9:00 p.m. to face the Zips.

The Flushes stand at 19-9 after a rough start.  Since the loss to the Zips in January 31st, the Flashes have gone on a 6-1 run, losing only to Miami.  They are coming off of a 40-point shellacking of Toledo.  I'm not a Mr. Pinky fan but I have to admit his teams seem to peak at the end of the season.

VonCameron Davis continues to lead scoring at 15.4 ppg.  Jaden Sullinger is second in scoring at 14.3 ppg.

40 point shellacking.  Make or break game for John Groce.

A 40-point beatdown of UT is insane

All part of the plan. Kowalchoke is sacrificing the regular season in exchange for (hopeful) success in Cleveland.

Key is Isaiah Gray:  if he has 4 or 5 turnovers and is bricking 3s will be tough game

I think his defense will be vital also as I could see him matching up against Davis quite a bit.  Davis is one of the best all around players in the MAC.  Holding him to 6 pointsin the first game went a long way towards the win.

Let’s go Yankees!

I'm hoping some of students bring some Judge or Ohtani big heads. I seriously considered buying a Dodgers hat, but couldn't find what I wanted at a reasonable price.

Akron being on national TV makes me nervous.  Seems the Zips play their worst ball when the lights are brightest.

The first Kent game this season was on national TV and so was the first OU game and those were two of our best games.

Keeping Lyles and Okonkwo out of foul trouble is my key to the game.

I wanna see Okonkwo re-assert his control of the paint like he did in our first meeting.  I have a feeling Kent's bigs (including VCD) are going to come out and try to punk him.
