I can speculate, assume, reason, and guess that Coach Ford isn't going to be pushed around by the players and agents.  He recruited over Sherron.

He should. He’s earned it. I just hope he improves offensively.

Teams are allowed up to 15 scholarships now and the real cost to the University for the marginal cost of 1-2 extra students is very minimal and way less than the stated cost. I wouldn't see why if someone is under scholarship or not is material any longer since the number of scholarships allowed now matches the roster spots allowed.

I know a former coach of his at Louisville… he told me this was in the works for awhile. Akron was a serious contender, but he chose money over winning (is what I was told)
