Well, the name of the guy who committed this morning was actively out there while Dustin said he couldn't ID today's visit.  That's a pretty strong indicator they're different players.

 

I think it is promising Eric was there and disappointing and telling Sharron was not.

 

Players I saw were Zach, Marvin, Chabi, Cody Head and two of the 3 red-shirts.  I heard that 2 of 3 freshman commits have stayed committed while one decommitted, though I can't identify which.

That's news. My guess is the two guards stayed committed while the Vegas kid decommitted. 

 

Were Perkins & Henderson in attendance?

Henderson posted a video on his IG story a week or so ago working out at our practice facility, so I am assuming he stayed.

I think overall golf outing was happening with Kaulig support but not a bball specific one? Baseball was benefiting from what I know.

This is correct. One outing that benefitted all sports.

Didn't realize this, but Jay Shunnar is married to Cayleifh Griffin, who works on both the Cavs and T-Wolves TV broadcasts. Never hurts for Akron to get some additional exposure.

I remember a group of KD's players were at Groce's introductory press conference. I was super bummed at the time and honestly that gave me a little bit of hope.

With Staveskie and Wilson inbound and Head and Perkins (as far as we know) returning, we look pretty solid in the backcourt. Ideally we would add a wing and/or stretch 4-type.

Sharron to Western Kentucky.  They must have some serious NIL money because that's not an improvement in program.

WKU is a program many around the MAC for years have coveted for expansion, specifically because of the quality of their basketball program, historically. Guessing their NIL is competitive with MAC teams, just a ??? of which positions they want/need to spend it.

This is where we are projected to be right now. I know someone mentioned one of the freshmen leaving, but until we get verification or see someone officially declare portal entry, I'm going to include them. This would leave us with 3 open roster spots.
