We don't know this at all.

Even if they do what would you expect to change? They can't even afford a training table. Let alone a full coaching staff/assistants.

I was talking about if we penciled in this "must win". Was more emphasizing a win today wouldn't change our season.

Very fair, thanks for the clarification.  You're 100% spot on.

Eh, they don't have the training table due to funds.  Even though Coach 14-41 hasn't really won anything at all, it's not good use of very limited money to waste a year's salary.

You never know how much a donor(s) might want someone gone.

I'd rather they use their money on things like that training table, but you are correct.  That is what it would take.

Regardless of the hapless state of our football program today is still Kent and that means we need to win. We can all unite on that. Even those whose every post is a snide, stating-the-obvious, boring crack against Joe Moorhead. Anytime we play Kent we must be together in our dislike of them. Goodrich will sort out the best direction for the program afterwards. Of that I have no doubt. I just hope he is with us long enough to see the positive outcome of his decisions. he is destined for an athletic program far bigger than us.

The only reason he wouldn't be destined for the "big time" is if he really doesn't want to do that.  Which doesn't seem likely.  Goodrich has been a breath of fresh air, and I do think part of his work is training his replacement.  He seems too detail-oriented to not.

Moorhead's buyout would be ~650K. That's probably 3 MAC caliber quality starters. If a donor has half a million just sitting around that would seem like a better way of spending it. Jack's and Joe's beats X's and O's.

It appears that Broughton may be back today. He's not listed as out on the availability report.
