They will fire him probably 2/3 the way through next year IMO. At that point it doesn't cost them anything extra. They will just promote an assistant. Maybe only 12 games left.

Moorhead is such a colossal bust of a head coach. He's going to get an OC job somewhere and probably be fine, but some guys just aren't cut out to lead a team. I feel for athletics right now...they're really trying to be creative and bring some energy around the program and Moorhead is just deflating it all. Can't wait til he's gone.

he is an embarrassment to the program. it's obvious he is losing on purpose. he is not developing the players that are on the team. he is setting the program back years. 

 

fire him tomorrow cut the string out an interim in place and move on. 

 

the program will not survive another season with him. 

 

he completely lost this team it's over. 

 

no transfers are going to come here with him as the coach. 

 

the team is done playing for him and we have the top two teams coming in.

They're getting their @$$e$ kicked in a rivalry game against a below average MAC team.  That team was at the bottom of the barrel after Kenni Burns and they've passed up the Zips.

 

Conner Cravaack should never again don a Zips jersey.

i have heard offensive genius for the last two years but haven't seen it at all.

 

no creativity and outcoached every game especially after halftime

 

he was successful at fordham and at PSU when he had barkley. 

 

i think he has been very predictable at akron EXCEPT for a fake punt at your own 20 down by 4 to seal your loss and let your players down. 

 

that i admit was a creative way to throw in the towel for your players and let them down

For an open handed slap? Totally lost composure, but at least someone is showing that they are pissed off and frustrated by this train wreck of a team. They just march in and march out with no emotion every freaking week. If he never wore a zip’s uniform again all the other players would be so jealous. 😂

It could be worse I guess. But it would take some kind of special to be worse. Never mind the fact we have had 2 worse coaches in the stadium’s lifespan
