Christian Anderson - their leading scorer with JT Toppin out - was the guy who slipped on the glass court in the Big 12 tourney and hurt his groin. Would be a shame if Shammah or Tavari hit him with a crossover hesi and he tweaked it again.
-
I find that a bit surprising. And I’m interested to know more about that.

Staying Close to John Groce - Coach-related News and Views

And what's nice is that I really don't think over a few years it would end up being prohibitively expensive to make the JAR pretty nice for the fans, either. It doesn't need replaced. -

I think it can be true that NIL is the most important external factor to success in 2026 and at the same time be true that renovating the JAR (eliminating sideline bleachers alone would be a positive) would improve the fan experience and potentially draw more people. Ultimately, the team should lean into marketing it's players. Our players are genuinely good guys, and I truly believe a big reason my son is hooked on Zips hoops is because of the many wonderful interactions he's had with many of them. The postgame autographs was a terrific start this season. -
Friday 12:40pm on TruTV is confirmed.

This particular blank is comfort colors. All of their shirts are just blanks with the tags ripped out. You find Comfort colors at tons of beaches, it’s a heavier t-shirt

12:40 Friday on TruTv is what I'm hearing.

FanDuel has -7.5 now for Texas Tech.

Definitely feels like the most winnable matchup we've had. Not only are they not overwhelming in size, but they play a lot of younger players heavy minutes. Perhaps can lead to them making more miscues than a senior led team.
-
Texas Tech is very guard heavy on their scoring. With the toppin injury they start a 6’6 guy at PF. I don’t think they can overpower us with size like Purdue. if we shoot 40% from 3 I think we win

I haven't seen anything but I wouldn't mind that time, there would be more people watching than during the workday. Although it seems late for a game being played in Tampa. I would think games further west would tip off that late.

We want Hofstra!

I’m hearing we tip at 9:20 on TNT. Anyone else hearing this?

Increasing JAR Attendance/Engaging the Fans

Yes, they wear OSU gear, but they're mainly OSU football fans. 99% of them don't follow OSU basketball. I wouldn't be surprised if many are UNC or Duke bandwagon fans for hoops. - Yesterday

It's not necessarily that - for example, people wear OSU stuff to Akron games and even the majority of alums follow OSU more than UA for a litany of reasons. I'd like to get to a culture like Dayton's where everything is about UD. I keep saying UD because I think they're the only Ohio university to push a lot of OSU influence away. Typo: -
Okonkwo was at the game last night and the watch party.

I don't feel OSU basketball has the monopoly that OSU football has in NEO. Most of this area tunes out college basketball and don't really follow it until March. Maybe watched 1-2 OSU basketball games all year. For that reason I feel it's easier to convert them. Just need to make them care in the first place.
