They need this week off. They seem to have lost some mojo. They have a month to get it back

The problem is any time we've played any team half decent this year we've lost. Good teams are able to exploit our weaknesses. If you beat the bad teams, but consistently lose to the good teams that means you're somewhere in between the two.

I want more Serb. I want more Hardman. I want more speed on offense. I want more shot attempts. I want to get back to the early season system that outpaced opponents and it didn't matter how teams shot because we were able to dictate the style and keep up.

It would be nice to have Barre or another rim protector as part of the regular rotation, but if we shot better it’s a different game.

This sums it up. We aren't built to play in the half court. A big reason why we're able to run the score up on bad teams is their miscues allows us to play an open court game.

I think this might be the biggest issue. Sure, the JAR looks like it could use some modernizing (inside and out) but Akron has a quality product. The team (winning program with likable guys), nice jerseys, nice court, the best mascot in D1, but from what I hear on this forum the game experience could be better. The last time it was a traffic jam leaving the game. The basics like comfortable and convenient seating, plentiful and clean bathrooms, quality and fairly priced concessions that are well run, a fan gear shop that is open, it’s cold in NE Ohio so parking should be built into the stadium complex if you are ever able to build new. Do you have a coat check at least? There have been mentions about the sound system and music choices/volume. Team introductions. These are some of the things you guys have mentioned in the past. I could make plenty of Marketing suggestions if I dove into it, but that usually costs money. This seems more like an event management challenge to me.

If D can't take away passing lanes and force turnovers and push tempo; and offense can't space and move their matchup zone... lather, rinse, repeat. We will see how they try to adjust against some size. If we're not dictating pace we're average.
