Increasing JAR Attendance/Engaging the Fans

He is now being reported as one of three finalists with the AD to be named before the start of the ACC tournament. So I’ll guess we’ll know soon enough. -
again, who cares. If they get an at large (or don't) it's because we beat them. I'm cool either way.
-
This is why the best they deserve at-large wise is Dayton.
-
Texas still doesn’t know how the NCAA will rule on Seymore’s waiver

agree with LGZ. Couldn't care less how MAC looks or what is good for them. Evan engaged in far less egregious behavior and was ejected from a game. However, this had the desired results for Travis: attention, brand-building, and further inducement for the Miami fan base.
-
I could care less about how the MAC looks. The MAC does enough to embarrass themselves, including their handling of this situation. However, I'm tired of the kid glove treatment of Miami OH this year. Schedule, officiating, opponent mistakes - everything has favored them this year. If Steele is ejected in that WMU game, do they win? If he's suspended for tomorrow night, do they lose?

Yeah, there's no consistency or even an attempt to be consistent. That's the athletic department's fault, not Under Armour. Even with their social media, they use too many colors and fonts.
-
Way too flashy. Pun not intended
-
Kent has the ugliest uniforms across sports of any Division 1 school and it's not even close. I don't know how much of it has to do with bad branding or if its the outfitter. But it's just flat out embarrassing. Somehow these are all the same school. I think I counted 11 different fonts, 5 different logos and 6 different primary colors.
-
Actually, that is a different McCaw family worth 4.5 billion. But her family is definitely in the private jet sphere.
-
I do. Embarrassing behavior that makes the MAC looks bad.
-
Or suspended.
-
Still can't believe he wasn't ejected.
-
Yes, especially once you consider his wife's family has a $4.5 billion net worth. That would be like you or I getting fined $1.
-
The disappointment of Travis' mom having to watch her son still throwing public temper tantrums at 44 years of age is better than any fine.
-
Slap on the wrist for Steele.
-
Oh I am not arguing, I was just speculating maybe we were next on that list, with SFA being one getting votes last week that took a loss.
-
I'm not really surprised. Some voters throw a vote to a mid-major, even if they might not think they're really top 25, just to give a school some recognition that might not otherwise be getting attention. It seems those votes are going to High Point, Navy, and Santa Clara instead. Probably because they think giving Miami votes is already drawing enough attention to the MAC. If I'm to shed my Zippy colored glasses for a minute I can't really argue with Santa Clara. They probably should be ahead of us. High Point I don't think should be, but they're close enough that an argument could at least be made. There is no reason that Navy should be getting votes if we're not. That's the lone outrageous one IMO.
-
They don't have to travel well. Their high attendance in previous MAC tournaments isn't because Athens County is heading north; a large chunk of their alumni base lives in NEO or at least much closer than NW West Virginia. Path of least resistance is my preference. That being said, Akron vs. Miami OH at 8pm on ESPN2 would garner a lot of national headlines. Amen.

Update: nope

We're winning either way in my hypothetical
