Not to compare Akron to the University of Pitt NIL money wise, but I know that the back up offensive linemen at Pitt get paid 100k and the starting qb for the season got an NIL deal of 1.8 mil prior to the season. He is now the backup and will most likely be looking elsewhere come portal time after how well the true freshman is doing. I can't imagine what the true freshman is going to get paid to stay there. But this is UMASS........... UMass has allocated a significant NIL budget of approximately $2 million for its 2025 football roster, a figure that is expected to grow to $3 million by 2026. This money is guaranteed and is intended to help the football team compete, with the university making tangible moves to support it. Budget: The team had a NIL budget of roughly $2 million for 2025. Future Projections: The NIL budget is projected to increase to $3 million in 2026. Funding: This is a guaranteed budget, not just a target, and is a major part of the university's strategy for competing in football. Comparison: This $2 million budget was noted as being the highest in the MAC conference for 2025. Just copied that today....

I'm pretty sure they won't, unfortunately.

I checked out Creighton's presser. They are focused on gaining some revenge tonight. Weather is great right now; should be no factor for the match. My wife and I are making the 2 hour drive to Omaha; hope to see a few other Zips there. - Today

I'm obviously an avid Zips basketball fan. That said, if I had a son who was gifted enough to play D1 basketball and was on the Zips and some school came offering him that kind of money, I would be the one packing his bags. That's life altering money at a young age. Assuming he's not stupid with managing it.

Josiah Harris started. 4 points and 14 rebounds. -
I heard $1.6M with multiple teams in the mix.

I don't know how accurate it was and don't remember who posted it, but someone here posted he got ~1 million.

Coming off a buzzer beater loss at Loyola (IL), who subsequently lost to Mercyhurst at home by 8 the other night (Mercyhurst is in their second season as a DI program), Cleveland State survives a scare from DIII Capital. They play Northwestern on Monday before traveling to Portage County on the 15th. Will be a decent litmus test to see where PCCC is at. -
What do we think he’s making at K State?

From the articles you shared it sounds like the program is in a rebuilding year. Their top player transferred to Florida and their second best player is sitting out this season. They're going to be relying on a lot of players who are either incoming or only played ~10 minutes/game last year.

It's tough to get a feel for Princeton given all of the movement in the program in the off-season and the fact that this game will be their opener. I sure hope the fans show up for this one. We don't get that many solid mid-majors in here so we need to show up when we get one.

I have a GA ticket available for this game. PM me if you would like it. Go Zips! Edit: Ticket has been claimed.

IT'S 2002 AND KENT STATE STILL SUCKS!

Unfortunately, it’s supposed to be around 30 degrees at kickoff

Lt. Governor Tressel has some type of fitness challenge going on. Free tickets to kids and their families. Hopefully we get a good turnout. He is supposed to be there with Ginn Jr.

Looks like they're in mid-season form already. 😂

Two touchdowns and two field goals

WMU lost to northwood😭😭😭. Ban the directionals

Ohio beat Illinois St at home. Might not sound impressive Illinois St. was ranked 122 in KenPom so that gives them the highest ranked win of the year so far. Great win for the MAC
