Sad news (for us fans) Darlington (among other future pros) was in college the same time I was and I followed his college and pro career. It’s a sad day for us fans, but he’s ready for the next step. Retirement. Congratulations on an awesome career.

I think this is BG's year. Somebody had to say it! 🤣

Freeman had a chance to win the game against his old team the Pacers in overtime but the shot did not fall. https://sports.yahoo.com/video/minnesota-timberwolves-vs-indiana-pacers-030719576.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

The through ball by the Cornell player was one of the prettiest passes I've ever seen in a soccer match. Chest-high bullet volley that split the Akron defenders to give the Cornell attacker the advantage. What a save by Mitch to prevent that from being the highlight of the year for Cornell.

Tuesday October 7th Number 2 Vermont traveled to Harvard and the 2 teams ended in a 0-0 result. Harvard has not had a strong year. They are 0-2 in the Ivy League and their overall record is 3-4-3 #14 Georgetown hosted Denver. Denver won 2-1. Denver came into tonight's match with 5 wins and 6 losses. Number 21 Seton Hall pounded Fla. International 5-0. Zips game at Seton Hall on Friday October 17...will be huge if the Zips want to make the Big East Tournament. Villanova got a 1-0 home win over NJIT. DePaul traveled to Bradley and the two teams battled to a 2-2 draw. Butler got a 2-1 road win over Oakland. Cleveland State with a 1-0 home win over Bowling Green. Xavier travled down I-75...and got a 2-0 win at Wright State.

As I said, expect goals in this match. 🤣

Great PK save by Mitch Budler...late in the 2nd half.

Just about to post this about Evan. I think this is an extremely good sign. I think Evan has the chance to be glue who holds the team together

Don't know if Kent will be there for the long haul -- too many freshmen and backcourt is suspect -- but they will be a tough out by the end of the season, no matter what. They really haven't spent much on transfers, although they have a few. Seems they have put more resources into freshmen, a couple with some A-10 type pedigree. The trick will be keeping them - if they are as good as recruitniks say. I think UMass is the team to watch. More size than any MAC team, which may offset the 3-point shooting from Akron and Miami. Anxious to see what they really look like. Also, while not a contender, hearing a lot of really good things about Central Michigan as a team to keep an eye on. After that, the usual suspects.

They're still the Mets.

So you’re saying it’s Yankees/Red Sox?

It pains me to say it, but history tells us PCCC will be in the mix. The school and boosters have committed money to Mr. Pinky so they'll be around.
