  1. Past hour
  2. Zips up to 11th in the coaches poll. Ohio State is not even receiving votes going into the big matchup on Friday. Looking ahead to next week, Vermont is currently 9th. https://unitedsoccercoaches.org/rankings/college-rankings/ncaa-di-men/
  3. Not sure they gave him much of a chance with that play call. If only they had an offensive genius...
  4. Exactly what I want too with the exclusive pair of Lebrons the basketball teams get
  5. This is my most prized piece of Zips memorabilia. Thanks 2010 Zips Men’s Soccer and special thanks to Coach Caleb Porter for making it possible for fans to purchase these.
  6. Can't go 2-2 turning the ball over.
  7. Today
  8. I just want to buy a football or basketball jersey
  9. Premiere basketball program huh How many NCAA Tourney wins do we have compared to Kent and Ohio U? Ill hang up and listen
  10. Yeh give us apparel we can buy from the team shop to support our own damn team
  11. I disagree. Toledo is the premier football program.
  12. Give people more than just football.
  13. Quick look showed that Bryan McCoy had 14 tackles (6 solo and 8 assisted) and 1 qbh Bryan is listed as a starter.... Nunnally had 1 tackle for Purdue ( he is now listed at 265, he was not that big as a Zip last year) CJ listed as second string LDE and Marcus Moore had zero stats.. Listed as fourth string nose tackle I don't know how many snaps they played to go along with the stats....
  14. Welp you just proved you are a clueless casual Boise State has a 503–189–2 record .726 Bowl record 13–9 (.591) 2 claimed national titles Made the 1st ever CFB Playoffs as a #3 seed. and has 22 Conference titles. Please do yourself a favor and STFU
  15. Because there is too much GOOD FOOTBALL on to settle for watching Bad Football
  16. Tahj doing Tahj things.
  17. Jordon Simmons left the Zips this summer for the greener pastures of Georgia State. Six RBs had rushing attempts in the Panthers 63-7 loss to Ole Miss. Jordon wasn't one of them. He did have 1 reception for -2 yards. Definitely would have been nice to have him splitting the load with Patrick last Thursday.
  18. One championship last year, since 1968, and OU is the premium football program in the MAC? 😳 And under the rules of division winners the prior year, they wouldn’t have even qualified for the title game last year.
  19. Big changes looming on the horizon include not just where the football program will fit but where/how the school will exist as an individual entity. There's a major public college shakeout coming for the State of Ohio, and the 14 existing public universities will very likely become seven or five within the next 15 years. I have a feeling the state will return to its "four in the corners, one in the middle" concept, which will pit multiple schools against one another, particularly in NE and SW Ohio.
  20. Believe it or not the over under is 47/5 or 48 depending.... Maybe the Zips offense will break out... Honestly, I hope that something positive can come out of the game for them to build on. If the Zips can go 2-2 the first four games then I would still consider that a success heading into conference play.
  21. from not in their top 25... to #12 https://collegesoccernews.com/college-soocer-news-mens-soccer-week-2-top-25-poll-stanford-clemson-and-indiana-jump-into-the-top-5/
  22. Let me guess... the over under is also 34.5?
  23. The Missouri Valley Conference has a separate website for their football conference and the rest of their sports Missouri Valley Football Conference website Missouri Valley Conference main(?) website Missouri Valley Football Conference Illinois State Indiana State Murray State North Dakota North Dakota State Northern Iowa (UNI) South Dakota South Dakota State Southern Illinois Youngstown State That's a solid football conference which we wouldn't win right now. NDSU would name their score on us. Missouri Valley basketball schools: Belmont Bradley Drake Evansville UIC Illinois State Indiana State Murray State Northern Iowa (UNI) Southern Illinois Valparaiso For 30 years I've been absolutely dead set against dropping down but I've been kicked in the balls so often as a Zips football fan that I've broken and would absolutely give this move serious consideration... were it offered.
  24. I think you're wasting your time trying to convince the wrong person. I'm not the audience you need to convince. I've said for a few years now that the cost for G5 football has grown too outrageously high and something needs to be done. Whether its just mailing it in and us being the Pirates of FBS (spend little to nothing, but collect the revenue sharing) or do something more drastic like drop down to non-scholaship FCS.
  25. And by making that point, you exactly prove my point. This whole charade has to stop, and people need to start calling it out.
