This was a poor performance by us. There is no way Providence should be playing even with us. I agree with another poster that we get nothing from our wings. I would take it a step further and say we get nothing from our midfield. That is the difference between this year's team and last year's. Our defense is so good it covers for the weakness of our midfield in scoring. It is frustrating because we can control the game until we get in the attacking third. Then we want the perfect shot and we dick around with the ball for forever. Take the shot the D gives you regardless of the clear path to the goal. The shot can be redirected or played off deflection or own-goaled. This team can be very good, but games like tonight drive you nuts. This should have been a win.3 points

Same stuff almost every week. We score first and now we have been outscored 17-0. Stupid penalties that kill drives. Why call a timeout on third and two. We then give them the ball where they can score another touchdown.1 point

Anytime you can throw a cross route for zero yards on 3rd and 2, gotta do it1 point

You can't say the Zips don't play hard. You can say that they do the dumbest things.1 point

Good job by the defense. Tibs threw out a new look on that third down stop. Great job by the OL in pass protection and Roggow throwing the ball. Also, well done by the receivers catching the ball. I shouldn’t have to say that, but there have already been too many drops this year. Keep it going Zips1 point

Feel like it'd be easier for us to just tell the super senior 5th year guys or whatever they are thanks but no thanks. Not sure it's worth all of the unknowns this close to the season. Sound familiar to anyone?1 point

Good point. I was frustrated at the time (still am) so I overlooked those. But, we wouldn't have gotten any result from the match if not for Brett.1 point

They really do deserve the support. They are in fifth right now and only the top six make the tournament. Buffalo and Kent are almost must wins to make the tournament because they finish with Western and Eastern Michigan who are two of the top three teams in the league.1 point
