    I was so looking forward to the game. I spent all day on my honey-do-list so I could sit and watch the game in prime time with a six pack of beer. Hopefully the Zips can find another game to fill the hole in the schedule.

    Defense wins championships. This Zips defense has a lot of playmakers, experience and depth. More depth than I can ever remember. Awesome

    I think the dream scenario would be for Groce to get Akron to the Sweet 16 in a few years then leave at the time Lebron retires. Lebron would make an excellent coach at Akron. I’m a dreamer.

    2019 schedule looks perfect.

    Bowden should definitely get an extension. He has rescued the program. He is recruiting well and the extension helps the recruits have faith that he will be around for them. Amato is an absolutely great DC. Millwee is horrible.

    The offense is pathetic. I am not one to call for coaching changes but I am done with Milwee. and can we get a dadgum kicker?
