Bluejays put the smack down at ASU. Score looks a little more respectable but they were up 20 on Bobby Hurley's crew for much if the 2nd half. While Akron had issues with Creighton I'm thinking it will certainly do the team some good in conference play.

I for one couldn't stan watching Deji play for his first 3 years. Couldn't dribble, awful set shot and zero court awareness. I always assumed he'd transfer but he worked hard and turned himself into a player. The one thing I never doubted was his athleticism. I kind of feel the same about Poke. Almost reminds me of Quade Milum. I think he'll become a player but it will take some time. Really liking Ivey. He reminds me of so many Kent tweener's that killed Akron in the past. Also like what I see out if TDM. Noah's injury could be a blessing as it got him on the court for extended min and to play through frosh mistakes.

This gets my vote. I was at the game and was going nuts. That was a wild MAC tournament for the Zips

I wonder if someone is evaluating him as a pass catching TE. If he adds 10-15 lbs he comps to a Jordan Reed from the skins. I don't see him as a WR but hey...Ricardo Lewis was drafted in the 4th rd and he doesn't know how to run routes like Lane.

This team really isn't playing well as a unit. Big Dog being doubled even when off ball sometimes creating lots of lanes and open looks. Only positive is Ivey hasthe look like he knows he belongs. The Zips are really going to need him this year.
