Yeah...because leaving a 20 some year old to run an organization is the best way to go . It's the Cavs organization's fault for always trying to please LeBron instead of just building a team, even if LeBron didn't even like that particular decision. Kobe Bryant hasn't like every decision the Lakers had made, but look where they've been. That's enough NBA talk for me already...especially since this is a college football forum...

You forgot about the chef that will be present on the sidelines during the home football games

Did I ever say the referees were terrible? NO Did I feel we played lousy defense majority of night? YES Have I seen worse officiated games before? Unfortunately I mentioned the free throw attempts due to thinking that it would show the lack of hustle we had to box out and keep VCU from getting so many dadgum offensive boards. I'm sure they scored about 50-70% of their possessions off of offensive rebounds. You'll never see me complain about referees the rest of the year. I saw 70+ fouls called in a 32 minute high school game before. Ended up not being a basketball game. Just ended up being who shot the best at the free throw line. Each team attempted more free throws, than the amount of minutes played(one team had 45 free throws, while the other had 36). So you won't see me complaining much...and the free throw stat was just put out there to show two things: 1) VCU was more aggressive 2) Our defensive closeouts and defensive slides were lazy, which let practically any VCU player go to the basket...

at one point VCU had 29 free throw attempts to our 10...

I'm sorry, but the one person I didn't want was Mike Johnson. Reminds me too much of Ianello from coaching aspect.... There is another name though I would be happy with...been mentioned here before and has not been actually mentioned as being "in the running" for the job...and no, I'm not talking about the sweater vest...

Part of me feels that TW did put all his eggs in Tressel's basket, and didn't want to share any to Winters, Narduzzi, and others. Part of me thinks that Wistrcill's plan all this time was "Tressel, or I'm fired" mentality... I just feel(as in my opinion), that some of these names that have been mentioned during this search, were just smokescreens. That he's been hoping that he could just get Tressel after the NCAA sanctions have been released. Part of me wonders if Wistrcill tipped off to Andy Staples to write something like that to get Tressel's attention. For what it's worth,on Andy Staples' twitter account, he said "I'm only half kidding saying some school should hire Tressel. Really, it's a smart move."

Unless there's organizations like the Kansas City Chiefs who know that they're going to promote Romeo Crennel to head coach, and Crennel is starting to put his staff together...

exactly...which gives me an idea/theory, but I'll keep my mouth shut. Oh why not bring it up...Why not Romeo at KC? At this point, it might be better off for UA to just give the head coaching job to an AK-rowdie, and then make the rest of the coaching staff students as well. Then, all UA has to do is pay the tuition, books, etc. while they're coaching. If the real reason we're not getting a "qualified" coach is because of $$$$$$$. then UA should do this...

What I'm saying is people were saying it would be terrible if looking for new AD and coach at same time...but what happens if we were able to get someone to come here and be both the AD and the football coach?

Unless the new football coach is also the AD...just saying...
