  1. Good point. I didn't watch the game and Kent may be improved, but we need to keep perspective that Illinois is a really bad P5 program.
  2. I'm looking forward to making the trip, but I'd bet they give us our worst loss this year.
  3. I'll take living in NE Ohio over Nebraska 7 days a week.
  4. Screw Kiffin. Hopefully I won't have to hear about FAU anymore this season.
  5. I'm pissed. I DVR'd the game, stayed off the web all night, woke up this morning at 7:30 stoked to watch us play on primetime national TV against a blue blood program we had a chance to beat and I see this bullshit. Screw Nebraska and their shitty weather!
  6. Gameday fellas. The long wait is over. Go ZIPS!
  7. Northwestern @ Purdue tonight on ESPN for anyone who wants to get a feel for our week 3 opponent.
  8. I feel like I'm missing something with this post. Jonah Morris listed as a starter over MTB is surprising considering we haven't heard much about him since he's been here and likely good considering MTB was a solid WR before. Also a little surprised to see Ward listed as a starter over Brady. Figured Reinke moving to TE would have cleared the way for Brady.
  9. Per that presser, Brimage only has a sprained MCL and is expected to be out 3-4 weeks. TB said he was somewhere between 2-3rd team, however. I never heard TB be that open about an injury before. Council got moved to RT which is interesting. Must not have been happy with Bullard there, which is not a big surprise. Hunter Corne is now the starting LG (took Councils spot). I didn't hear anything about Trevor Brown. Hopefully that means he is fine. Van Edwards apparently clear #1. Sands #2. Floyd and Alce been battling injuries all camp.
  10. don't we normally post depth charts for game week? curious if there are any surprises or not, even though the depth chart might not mean much. Its football season fellas. Go ZIPS!
  11. good to see our (lack of) media coverage is noted by outsiders.
  12. Nebraska RB calling it a career. Unsure how much he was figured to play this year, but the article makes it seem like he was pretty good. https://www.omaha.com/huskers/football/nebraska-running-back-tre-bryant-retires-from-football-because-of/article_f9c76670-61f6-57bf-8ec9-85b388ea4258.html
  13. I just hope this means I never have to read an RPI comparison ever again on this board.
  14. i was wondering the same thing myself. I will likely be out of the country that weekend and am trying to find a way to watch/record assuming its on tv.
  15. its the arm tat, isn't it?
  16. Thats kind of a bummer. I wonder what happened.
  17. http://www.cantonrep.com/opinion/20180817/editorial-university-of-akron-cutting-low-demand-degrees-makes-sense
  18. All hail the Cap'n. I haven't seen as much as you, but I have heard Malik's (and noticed him during the spring game) a lot more than I thought I would given the point of his career and his high school tape. Hopefully Brown and Brimage will be okay.
  19. That was so dumb I actually laughed my ass off.
  20. From the list I looked at, it seems most if not all were cut because there is very low demand for them or there are near-duplicate alternative options out there. I don't see the issue.
  21. I can't believe Reinke was moved to TE. Starting (and sound) DE to TE where he might not even play much. I don't think we are really as thin as GT makes us out to be. You have Newman (although oft injured), Wolfley, Junk, and possibly Johns. I interpret it as meaning Sampson, Brady, and possibly Meeks are looking good.
  22. I have never heard "Ph. D programs" and "key to the regional economy" in the same sentence before.
  23. Shawn has been the definition of steady his entire career. Looking forward to another nice season from him.
  24. I consider LIU Brooklyn (Cotton) a low major. Maybe I am off base though.
