I was in the athletic offices late last week, and I can confirm that they were about to leave for Canisius. So, I'm going to assume that this scrimmage happened. The Hip Zip Posted November 11, 2017 Report Share Posted November 11, 2017 The Vikes are an ideal opening opponent. They are essentially in a similar position as we are as the Felton era begins. They struggled a bit before pulling away from powerhouse Cederville so they will probably take their lumps in a rebuilding season. I see this as game that presents a solid opportunity for our guys to get an opening win and gain some confidence. That said ,our lack of depth scares the Hell out of me. This game's a nice opener for the Zips. No disrespect to CSU, but it isn't a strong opponent yet it isn't a Radford/Coppin State level walkover. Could be a competitive matchup.
